  1. Hartlepools 2-1 Charlton. McDons are drawing. As things stand, we win our games in hand, we go back into 2nd.
  2. I miss lolcats.
  3. I would suggest that Baroness Sayeeda Warsi. The female islamic chairperson of the Conservative Party is not helping matters. http://www.spectator.co.uk/melaniephillips/6633889/just-whose-side-is-baroness-warsi-on.thtml
  4. Be fair, he has a point.
  5. We should have one of these:
  6. Goat........... human............. goat.............. human. It may just be a sign of how diverse humanity can be when bisexuality can be seen as possible by some and not by (oh the temptation to spell it 'bi'...) others. I had some bisexual friends at uni, they (both lads and ladies) engaged in relationships with people of both gender. some lasted, some didn't. It just seems that in this particular orientation gender is not a factor. Although, yes, species is still rather important.
  7. Sounds fair to me! As a note though, we prefer the term hygienically challenged.
  8. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/9389612.stm
  9. Floodlight failure. Place your bets now.
  10. I believe it is possible. Hope it is anyway, my dream of a Kelly Brook, Sophie Dahl and me threesome will never be quite right if it's not.
  11. You didn't even buy me a drink. I have some standards!
  12. One of my uncles was on the wrong end of a divorce when his wife of 15 years ran off with a female colleague. Naturally it left him utterly devastated, but not quite as confused as my cousin Lee. (Sadly i've not heard from him for years, I hope he's doing well for himself.) As I understand it my 'dear' aunty was adamant, absolutely adamant that she was simply following her heart. Claiming that she had found her soulmate and that gender was almost irrelevant. It begs the question of whether love can cross all boundaries, even those of gender in people who up until that point in time had identified themselves as hetrosexual. Either that or it could just be a whole 'trying to conform despite your own nature and not being able to repress it anymore' type deal.
  13. I was once told by an elderly chap in my local in Coventry that if you so much as stood in the same room as a homosexual you could 'catch' their sexual orientation. I think he was trying to come on to me.
  14. I predict there will be 90 minutes of football (excluding extra time) at Hartlepool.
  15. Still sounds better then 'pompey fan on a string.' It was embarrassing going to away games with idiots singing that just a few seats away.
  16. I could make a serious addition to the thread, somehow though I think it may be missing the point.
  17. Was going but sadly the re-arrangement makes it impossible. Swapped the tickets for Walsall away instead, a bit closer for a midweek.
  18. Oh for pities sake, not this again. Rallyboy, great post.
  19. I have Islamic neighbours. They are peaceful, kind and courteous. Like with all religions, it's not the religion that's the problem it's the extremes that some people can interpret them. Let us no forget either that Christianity and Islam share common heritage, Jesus is a prophet in their faith and it explicitly states in the Koran that the closest friend of the Muslim is the 'Christian.' Just 100 years ago in this country women didn't even have the right to vote. Less then 15 years ago, bloody civil war was taking place within our own nation on the basis of subtle secular differences. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
  20. I believe they are both one year specials. Next year there will be new designs with a sponsor and our regular logo.
  21. Just checked and there seems to be a residential estate a few meters behind were the pitch finishes.
  22. Don't they have a rather inconveniently located railway line behind it?
  23. Wolverhampton Wanderers
