  1. Probably. It was the Eclipse Inn in Winchester.
  2. First Saints Game:- 1995 August. Home v Leeds, 1-1 Draw. Sat in a restricted view seat in the upper west stand. Couldn't see our goal. First Away Game:- Sheffield Wednesday, Jan or Feb 2000. Was sat on the home terrace opposite the away end.... we won 1-0, penalty. 15 year old me had to really bite his tounge when it in. Best Away Trip:- Walsall away last year. Result never in doubt, just before Christmas. Just total fun. Favourite Saints Memories:- The Johnstones Paint trophy final. 3. Telephone then collect on the day? - Sell the Carlisle ticket. I wouldn't try buying from an existing purchaser. My Dad was offered £200 for my ticket last night. It would be cheaper buying for the two games, even if you do miss one.
  4. How good are the Baxi ones? I've found a good price on many of them (a bit cheaper then the vailants.... but naturally I've no idea how they would function.)
  5. The Ryan Smith I saw away at St Andrews that year and against Man Utd would do a job for us right now. Would need to be at the top of his game mind.
  6. Dare I say he would be good as an option on the bench right now?
  7. Good points well made. We were utter dogsh*t while he played for us. A better team might have been able to carry him but there was nowhere to hide with us. He is a limited player of limited ability but did not deserve the sh*t he received from our fanbase.
  8. Oliver Lancashire was a worse player. Why didn't we turn on him?
  9. I'm sorry, but Smith was ok. He simply had the missfortune of not being one of our academy lads in an awful team. Smith was a scapegoat, not a great player by any means but certainly not the worst that year. Sadly, in a side inhabited by unprepared academy players who at the least had our sympathy he was a scapegoat. He tried but failed. That is not his fault. It's the manager's and chairman who signed him.
  10. I doubt we paid peanuts for Guly, even if it is an undisclosed fee.
  11. Yeah, but it's got to be a fair exchange.... come on now....
  12. Did they actually say that? Where the hell did this 'world class' thing come from?
  13. Oh god lord.......
  14. Nonsense. I want more. MORE!!!
  15. I actually agree. He showed some good moments but was always slated.... I just didn't understand it.
  16. Q: Did the team at the time actually think for a second that the dutch experiment had a chance of working? Q: Raspberry Ripple or Mint Choc Chip? Q: How was Rupert Lowe as a boss?
  17. He's having a busy night
  18. Dean Richards - 8 million Theo Walcott - 9.1 million Two unbelievable deals. If NC can beat them... Then well, total credit to him.
  19. .. And therefore cementing the Sash in the mind of the general public as being our new fresh and unique identity! Great point Docker-P! Come on you Sashes!!!!
  20. Oh well. We're in the money boys and girls!
  21. A superb idea... my other half uses Freecycle and obtained a Fridge the same way.
  22. That could be done! Just hope he doesn't mind if the accomodation is themed for a 2 year old child. (after a few beers I wouldn't care just so long I could fit in the bed...) What type/brand/spec of combi boiler should I be looking at. Any you would recommend J9?
  23. I think I need to have a little weep over the money i'm about to lose. At least I have an idea what would need to be done now. No chance of you driving up to Coventry to do the work I take it? 400 quid sounds excellent!
  24. So a combi boiler will be able to handle both the hot tap water and central heating. Ok. I would therefore be paying for: New Boiler. Removal of the old ones. Re-pipping the central heating lines from underneath the fireplace to the kitchen to the combi A new thermostat arrangement Labour Is that about right?
  25. I am trying to sort out the riddle that is my home and right now I am having some boiler issues. I live in a 3 bedroom terraced house. It currently has two boilers. One is located behind the fire in the lounge. It's an ancient EMI Housewarmer 2 35/45 which is a combination fire and back boiler which powers the central heating. The second (A Glow-worm Ascot 1.4S) is in the kitchen that looks after all tapped hot water. The central heating boiler is on it's last legs. The Kitchen one is working rather well though, never had any problems. Can these two boilers be combined into one unit? And, heaven forbid, how much would this kind of work cost!?
