2-1?
-
In fairness a completely worthy winner.
-
It's not as bad. It's all relative.
-
His distribution is bloody awful. Had more slices on saturday then a slob enjoying takeaway pizza. Obviously not a bad keeper, but Kelvin is better.
-
A very sudden thing to happen to a player who was match fit just a few days ago. All thoughts to his family.
-
Calm down chap. Holepuncture summed it up best with his post.
-
Sounds like Danny Hockton for me. The season he had for Margate back in 06/07 was unbelievable. But all he could do was finish. At a higher level (the mighty Bromley) he was found out.
-
When he was on fire with Salisbury he had an 8 game spell with the Cherries. He found the net once but they decided against keeping him. His best chance to play in the league is for Crawley to come up.
-
Neither. Sky Sports. The FA does very little. They don't even have direct control of the nPower football leagues. The have the Cup, the national team and then the Vase, JPT etc.
-
It would be excellent. The Premier League would never agree though.
-
Quite. If you are paying circa fifty quid for it though you would expect something quite good.
-
Thats a shame. Almost went for that myself but if it's turned into a kids free for all then i'll stick to the King Alfred. Seems that there is a discrepancy between the hospitality restaurant/bar capacity and stand seating capacity - Very poor organisation.
-
Developed a healthy working relationship with Nicola Cortese.
-
Came on as a sub once I believe. Now at Cov City and has done absolutely nothing.
-
I agree with this. Regardless of the Pardew schenanigans, sacking him just as it looks as though the team was coming together was a hammerblow. It took a fair while to build that momentum back up and thank heavens Adkins has achieved it.
-
Wow he looks so comfortable doing that.
-
Busy day for managers. Paul Jewell in at Ipswich Keith Hill of Rochdale in talks with palace Charlton in talks with Howe Aldershot sack Kevin Dillon Any more for the story mill?
-
They are a bigger club, but he could have gone to Palace and kept them up. Bit of a shame for him.

At least we can look back and laugh? Right? -
I believe that MLT got a winner in what turned out to be Ron Atkinson's last game in charge of Man Utd. I think that was in the cup.

My advice, Put AOC in the team every week. I am on the verge of being 5 times back to back Premiership/European champions and he is still a key first team squad member. He needs to be playing to develop though and as the right sided player in a 4-2-3-1 wing forward formation he has been excellent. Who is your other option on the right?

I have an iPhone 3G as a work phone and an iPhone 4 for personal use. The 3G runs far too slowly on the latest operating systems. Time has not been kind to it and although it is still an impressive piece of kit it cannot run at an acceptable pace with the modern apps. It is ergonomically better but it scratches far too easily. The 4 is an absolute lightyear ahead of the 3G. Once you have used the retina display you cannot take the lower resolution ones seriously... they seem pre-historic in comparison. It is bloody durable too. Resists hairline scratches and wear and tear far better then the 3G/3Gs. It is a shame that the Apple OS limits the customisation options for the device (yes you can jailbreak it, but i'm not going to do that...) but other then that I canot recommend the 4 highly enough.

That'll cover Charlie Austin's annual bar bill.

And that is why we will win. Those bratty reserves will not expect a league 1 side to give them such a good game. And the Neviller will finally get the roasting he deserves courtesy of Lallana/Chamberlain. -
Before the game yesterday I would have said yes. I wanted us to lose and focus on the league. After the performance though and the wonderful manner of the win I was on top of the world. The point of the cup became obvious to me again. It can still make you feel magical. The cup is still a powerful force.
