Football Special

Its not just from the East, its Southampton Central so all directions impacted. A mate of mine travels down from London for home games, honestly its been shit all season hardly ever just a normal direct train to Southampton Will certainly add to traffic with a sold out St Mary's , few cruise ships in as well that always adds to the gridlock

Monday, sales look strong, 3 blocks sold so far, couple still to be put on sale

Yeah I think Millwall could do it if they win at WBA tonight, tough game against a Baggies side who haven't lost for a while. A West Brom win however would be very welcome leaving us 6 off Millwall with two games in hand.

Completely agree, the 88/89 season FA Cup replay defeat also disappointing around that time. Last season was funny when they were willing us on to beat their record low points, Derby should let us win this one to help us get promoted so we can have another go at that.

For those going by train, I expect SWR will run some special services , they are just so slow at announcing it, i remember for the play off final they only confirmed a few days before but ran some trains direct from central to Waterloo not stopping, engineering work might make it tricky but hopefully they can do that again even on diverted route. Slightly longer journey time not a problem when you have a few cans to get through. I've emailed them to ask.

That's just an example of order we sold tickets for Wembley play off final

Not sure but I've seen that image shared quite a bit, our end should make the occasion, looking forward to it

I thought we sold out to members

Not long depending on queue, Met line Wembley Park to Euston Sq, is quick 25 mins, usually losing side gets a head start but Man City fans dont really bother to stay and celebrate in a semi final

Yep would be good , never know they might even give us more if we fill our end, yellow and blue, memories of Cardiff, will look great

My guess is they'll go on sale to season ticket holders straight off as they know all are guaranteed, perhaps a small priority window for those who attended earlier cup rounds but no issue waiting if you want to sit together unless you want a particular block A Man City lad I know reckons they won't get anywhere near selling out, shame really I'd rather see a full ground for the occasion

Wonder if they'll open up the ticket exchange ? Been a long time since thats been needed

He must be incredibly confident he's right as taking bookings already , getting ahead of the official travel

There will be people within the club who will know by now so perhaps thats where these rumours are coming from, the later they leave it I think ticket sales will need to be quite swift to allow time to post (unless Saints go for digital option this time)

The stuff of dreams , genuinely think we'd have a good chance of winning Europa league or conference as well

Wigan played in Europe as a championship team, think Birmingham did as well

Szmodics will be available. I'd be tempted to rest Stewart again and play Larin, in games I've seen Derby have been physical and get away with quite a bit. Fans even imply "shithousing" is a quality of theirs. I've had a dislike of them since the play offs 20 odd years ago, would be lovely to get a win https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/45078-match-thread-vs-southampton-a/

I think Nick might have jumped the gun a bit there putting coaches on sale before date is confirmed

Nice to have a massive away allocation, shame it's miles away with a lunchtime kick off. I reckon lots will buy on the off chance there's something to play for but might not bother going if it's all decided by then https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/preston-north-end-vs-southampton-2526

I dont think tickets are free , it is coach travel thats free (id rather not go on the bingo bus to be honest)

Best song ever. Although we might miss out if Goztepe finish in a Europa league place in Turkish league

Very few tickets left for this one now , our last Saturday home game of the season, how mad is that

Middlesbrough have some nice home games v Pompey and Sheffield wednesday as well, hard to catch

Despite injuries they'll have Carlton Morris and Sammie Szmodics up front , not too bad

I agree, Eustace will set Derby up to frustrate us, could be a slow game at times, hopefully like Oxford we can get an early goal. Derby sold out their 3,008 allocation pretty quickly and see this as a big game with them still in with a chance of the play offs, a win would bring them level on points with us, 6 pointer. Will be watching Norwich vs Ipswich pre match
