I know the football doesn't help, but still a shame to see how quiet the Northam wall is. The old Northam / Itchen North combo would have comfortably made more noise yesterday
-
Agree I think they are more useless rather than planned but we definitely need to start planning for championship next season which might explain why they will stick with Martin.
-
It was the most biased refereeing performance I have ever seen certainly, can only assume Leicester had taken his family hostage until the end of the match. What the fuck was he doing here?
-
You can add traffic / bus replacements to that list as well, absolutely fucking crap all round
-
That's a fair balanced post, I think it's going to be really difficult for us as a fanbase living through what is likely to be our worst season ever in real time, especially the nippers , one about 7 years old looked absolutely distraught walking out of the ground. We all learn the hard way but would have been nice to give the kids some hope. I can't imagine there's a Saints fan left who still gives us a chance of survival but let's at least play for pride.
-
Wish I could be the same and not let it get to me , absolutely fucking hate Leicester and Vardy, every fucking time
-
Was there a bad injury?
-
I didn't realise you're allowed to play in other competitions whilst serving a ban, will be good for him to have a run out , you'd hope Fleetwood u21s won't be very good but that's a strong back line , Lumley , Larios, Stephens, even Edwards has gone from being Peterborough best player to playing in front of 100 fans at Totton v Fleetwood kids

I was having this discussion the other day, at least we have Stoke at home soon..... A team we haven't beaten at home in a decade and failed to score against in our last four home games against them π

Some views from the opposition https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/135887-southampton-vs-leicester-a-october-19th/

What odds on Leicester to win / Vardy anytime scorer?
-
He's an ex saint who loves the club and the area obviously, not sure what package we've offered him but apparently Pinder is part of the deal
-
Forest and Fulham away on Sunday lunchtimes annoyed me, two good away days for trains / pubs would have been ideal Saturday 3pm
-
A few other clubs do random ticket checks / collection for away games where you need ID etc, don't really want to go down that route like you say plenty of times a mate can't make it and pass it on , it's the deliberate re-sellers that should be targeted. Historically it's not been an issue for us as even sold out away games used to go to general sale.

Sunday 7pm kick off at home to Spurs can be added to the list of what makes the Premier league is shite
-
Looking at the TV fixture changes announced today I'd imagine some of the more inconvenient kick off times combined with our certain relegation will result in a gradual drop off of away travellers
-

Wolves sold out now at any season ticket holder stage, didn't make it to members , good going taking just over 3k up there As mentioned terrible place for pubs , spent ages trying to get in one last time, heard of a few lads who ended up in a pizza restaurant, shared a couple of pizzas with a few bottles of Peroni , not a bad option better than drinking in the ground
-
They keep adding new blocks so there's actually plenty left still
-
I'd take 19 points if offered now
-
Not sure mate, probably a prawn sandwich or two, fancy it? Sure you can put through expenses at work , any client would be blown away by "exclusivity rarely seen in the city. "

Not just any tree mate, the most famous tree in the New Forest ππ» Is this what they cleansed the Itchen North for?

Anyone planning to go to this game? Some of the ex-saints that are returning deserve a good reception, hopefully they get a decent crowd in raise plenty of cash for charity. Will be odd as obviously everyone will be supporting the Saints Legends, not sure if the Russell Martin XI fans will be put in the away end?
