  1. David Brooks Joe Rothwell
  2. I agree with you, but hope he doesn't start talking about scar tissue
  3. Ah we're going to have fans in ginger wigs again aren't we, I'd forgotten about that in the Strachan days
  4. Wish Saints had fans like this , 3 mins on is absolutely hilarious
  5. To be honest Leicester could have had 10 point deduction this season and still finished above us so don't be complacent! The interesting ones will be Birmingham and Wrexham, if they spend big I think they'll be up there
  6. Is Arsenal Fan TV still a thing? Not seen those wallies for a while but used to come out with some comedy gold during the Wenger Out days, ya get me Robbie blud
  7. Point deduction would be next season which is much more useful
  8. The lack of strategy and leadership seems to be a common theme
  9. Brentford’s 3-2 home defeat to Fulham and Nottingham Forest’s 2-1 win away against West Ham United (pictured) on 18th May 2025 means that the top flight table now has four point gabs of double-figures; 12 points between first-placed Liverpool and second-placed Arsenal, 10 points behind seventh-placed Nottingham Forest and eighth-placed Brentford, 13 points between 17th-placed Tottenham Hotspur and 18th-placed Leicester City, and 10 points between 19th-placed Ipswich Town and 20th-placed Southampton. If the final table of the top flight season also includes four double-figure point gabs, then this will be the first time in league history. Previously, the 1994/95, 2009/10, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 Premier League seasons all had a maximum of three double-figure point gaps. Just for the record, no final table at the second, third or fourth tier have ever consisted of more than two double-figure point gaps. The first time this happened was during the 1904/05 season of Division Two, where third-placed Manchester United finished 11 points ahead of fourth-placed Bristol City, while Burton United finished second-to-bottom 12 points ahead of bottom-placed Doncaster Rovers.
  10. I think Sheff Utd did that last year conceded over 100 goals as well, they were as bad as us really
  11. Arsenal at home Last game of the season Surely this last happened 24 years ago (on this day) Hopefully a similar result
  12. Trying to fill empty seats left vacant by season ticket holders who just can't face anymore?
  13. I was in the upper tier towards the front and didn't notice any, not surprised if a few cashed in selling on , maybe it was more noticeable at the farewell ceremony?
  14. Quality that, but hang on, did they sack legend Ivan Juric and improve with his replacement? How could that be possible?
  15. It was a great occasion to be part of, spent quite a bit of time outside the ground pre-match taking it all in , was disappointed Everton didn't all come on the pitch at the end, was all a bit flat, didn't stay for the farewell ceremony instead those of us that left had to battle with the local constabulary to be let out, they were virtually letting one at a time go to stop Everton fans sneaking in. Thinking about it wish our 3k fans all stayed and sung Matty , Matty Fernandes non-stop throughout their ceremony just for a laugh
  16. You can't tell me this isn't comedy of the highest level , and yes if he gets them promoted I guarantee he'll win at St Mary’s
  17. I think so, fixtures are released in June, if we have Orient away end of season it would be reasonable to assume promotion is assured
  18. No he's probably the perfect age as long as he's tall enough to see over people stood in front
  19. It's a funny email, i'd have liked them to add an asterisk in the small print *however if a last min winner is scored by the Loch Ness Drogba with a Van Basten style volley please feel free to hop over the boardings and celebrate briefly on the pitch
  20. Sounds about right, just beaten Man Utd? It was good natured but got a bit too rowdy for the club I think
  21. Not quite, there was a lot of pent up anger that day, we were relegated or about to be relegated to league one, administration, club in turmoil, I remember a bloke appearing in the away end in a Skates shirt, it all boiled over really , Paul Wotton still on the ground injured i think , I remember the year before we invaded the pitch celebrating Championship survival against Sheff Utd that was much more good natured. Here's some highlights from the Burnley game
  22. I need some help to decide who to vote for, needs to be a player with 15+ first team appearances, Fernandes? https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/voting-open-for-fans-player-of-the-season
  23. Pleased to see Orient win on pens last night, ensures at least one more southern team will be promoted up to the Championship next season
  24. Post on here at the time, someone will probably be happy to buy the friendly tickets from you and easy to transfer on the app , we might get a Premier league glamour club visit us like last time we prepares for the Championship against Bournemouth
