  1. Reading some of the Everton forums brings back memories of leaving The Dell, I still haven't got over it
  2. Clever move by the club to stop the fans ripping out the seats and helping themselves to souvenirs
  3. I was thinking the same thing, remember West Ham away last game in 1993/94 season , last game for their terrace all on the pitch before final whistle
  4. There's boarded up terrace houses around there. Land value must be low but will probably get a government regeneration fund and pay Everton over market value for it, Liverpool council already showed their corruption with the new ground
  5. Yeah if Sheff Utd join Burnley going up and Luton having gone down will that just leave us, Leicester and Ipswich in receipt of parachute payments in next seasons championship?
  6. Hopefully Draper Tools or Dimplex?
  7. To be fair our recruitment has been like the blind leading the blind
  8. Yeah the timing is important, do Sheff Utd and Burnley get the share of unused parachutes or do we? I guess when we went back up last year we'd have benefitted if it's other way round
  9. They mentioned if Sheff Utd go back up with Burnley their remaining parachute payments get redistributed amongst Premier League clubs, would we benefit from that?
  10. We've already beaten them twice this season so why not Having said that I expect 3-0 defeat, Alcaraz to get one of the goals
  11. I'm hoping it will be Saturday as could go up as part of weekend for Everton away
  12. Yes I know some who have had the collection email, including one getting the email today! I've had no ticket or email still
  13. Having a laugh aren't they
  14. I'm pretty sure I paid about that per game when we first moved to St Mary's in 2001
  15. Honestly think the fan base deserves huge credit , been truly awful season, ground was full and really positive support yesterday, great scenes at the end , fans singing walking back into town , get those season tickets on sale before the feelgood factor wears off ha
  16. I do agree that Manchester City's slow approach play was much better suited for us. We struggle against high energy teams who have intensity, I think Pep had been consulting Russ on how to play against us
  17. It felt like a win. Bloke next to me looked like he was going to cry celebrating 🍾
  18. No chance Haaland was going to miss out on this one
  19. https://www.evertonfc.com/news/2025/may/08/evet/
  20. It's an odd record really and hard to compare, many youngsters who do well at u18 level often end up moving up during the season to u21 or even first team squads, but good to see the lad doing well. With u18 season finished why not give him a try with u21s on Monday night, see what he can do a level up Villa won this evening to win the league with a game to spare, we finish 2nd, good season for them
  21. Seems to have a weird smugness / arrogance for someone who's been part of such an embarrassing season, those idiot fans know nothing you don't need to justify your decisions to them Simon! Anyway back to this game, LIMITED TICKETS REMAIN, BOOK SOON TO GUARANTEE DISAPPOINTMENT https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/last-chance-for-man-city-tickets-2425 Having to discount corporate packages as businesses don't want to invite clients and be associated with our losers
  22. So are we going to bounce back or not?
  23. Been a great game, toughest game Inter have had in Europe since they lost at St Mary’s in 2016
  24. Semi final away to Crystal Palace next Monday night at Selhurst Park
  25. Does that mean we're saving our rolling over performance for Goodison Park a week later?
