Might as well be 2800/1

I remember Pep marching on to the pitch to shake Nathan Redmonds hand, who could it be this time?
-
He's not getting the sack is he, there seems little point in a Martin out campaign unless the ownership changes so for now I say remember the vow we took: When we get promotion This is what we'll sing We are southampton we are southampton Martin is our king

I'd love to hear an update on Kat and Nelly's close relationship. I can picture them going for bottomless brunch after a spot of shopping , lovely stuff
-
I guarantee the Premier League will be watching this closely keen to get in on the plan, hopefully FIFA don't allow it , AMF https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c98y89dwrxro

Same for me mate, 9 years old and football just seemed magical then , shame to see what it's become , have a watch of this video as well, marvellous

I can see Palace changing manager soon, bit of panic starting to kick in amongst their fan base
-
Agree with this, particularly noticed on Saturday how hard working he is moving off the ball, needs faster service as we're so slow going forward to benefit from it
-
This doesn't get said enough, same as when fans were foaming at the mouth shouting abuse at Nathan Jones - it was never his fault that Sport Republic had persued him paying up his contract with Luton so they'd release him
-
Agree with that , absolutely hate VAR. Also looking forward to getting some songs back like EIEIEIO up the football league we go, and 25 25 undefeated playing football the Southampton way.

A season of no wins where each time fans say "I think they'll give him the next game" and before we know it we're in May. I'd still take that with a Carabao cup win though.
-
QPR away the week before was also a great one, Norwich at home that season one of the best hat tricks you'll ever see
-
One of my favourite games in one of my favourite seasons, good old Chris Nicholl and his 4-2-4 tactics, the club never did acknowledge his death did they ?
-
That's a good point and would be an interesting legal case, unfair that only goals scored are rewarded with points and not some of the other great brave things that happen elsewhere on the pitch , football needs a re-think
-
On a brighter note this came up as a memory from 8 years ago, nice to reminisce
-
Also managed to concede 3 at championship strugglers Cardiff in the Milk Cup
-
He'd dropped out of England u19 squad during international break due to carrying a knock so it's possible he's not quite 100% , still created some good chances, played a lovely ball down the wing with outside of his left boot in first half as well

It was. I was at those games as well, WBA was right up there.
-
I think that goes for the fans as well as the players, zero intimidation , doesn't give us any home advantage, but you can see from posts on here several admit to not even be bothered about losing.
-
Do you also not get that excited if we win? Guess it comes down to personality types, I can't just shrug my shoulders and not be bothered after a game like that
-
So deep it's going to take a long time to recover from

Agree, we've got youngsters going to school on a Monday, hard enough to put up with armchair cunts supporting the Liverpools and Man City's without saints becoming a laughing stock for record points / defeats. We're definitely heading for it.
-
That is true, but also just a few months ago we had possibly the best St Mary's atmosphere ever for WBA. Do we have any songs any more for our players? Most of the singing yesterday was about the ref

Is there a link to the interview anywhere? I can't be arsed to watch MOTD , he does seem to struggle to accept his way isn't working Fans are going to turn on him from now I think, all goodwill used up
