Football Special

Tuchel Out

There's about 30 tickets back on sale now if you are quick, some in Itchen others in Chapel

Its a good appointment, he'll keep them up

Do you love the excitement of cup football? Do you want to see a home win on Saturday? Do you want to celebrate getting to Wembley? If you answered yes to the above questions then get yourself along to AFC Stoneham where they are all set to book their place in the FA Vase final this Saturday afternoon, perfect timing for a double header with Saints

Assume this was at the open training session that fans could attend at St Mary's today, in which case hopefully someone on here can confirm it didn't look too bad? Seems a bit risky holding a session like that publicly, no doubt Arteta was there in disguise watching

We're about to play a minimum of 8 games in a month, crazy schedule to end the season and we'll need Stewart to stay fit for as much of that as possible, he'll be keen to prove himself to earn another contract with us or elsewhere. Do we have an automatic option to extend?

For a time id say Broja did that job for us, was set for a great career before injuries plagued him

Should be a punishment for these fraudulent injury claims Surely none of these players can suddenly be 'fit' enough for Saturday https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/arsenal-fc-injury-update-rice-saka-madueke-latest-return-dates-b1276882.html

I don't think these tickets are an issue, they are going to genuine fans who turn up and fill the seats, and those of us who have been going for years know most of these faces. The issue is more player comps and sponsors tickets that either go unused or in the case of some Prem grounds end up in the wrong hands Can anyone see how Swansea sales are progressing?

Seems odd, can see Saints Foundation and Man Utd Foundation logos on promotions, would have thought they'd make more of supporting good causes

That's us fucked then. I remember a terrible Watford team coming to St Mary's a few years ago on their way to relegation and beating us with a geriatric Roy celebrating on the touchline . We have to play Bristol City at home still Fair play to him still having the drive at 78.

100% don't take it too seriously, is money going to Saints Foundation?

Really depends on time, budget etc. I'd recommend combining some pubs with food. Head down Bugle Street, try The Titanic, Duke of Wellington (named after our left back), and Dancing Man Brewery at the bottom of the road, food there is very nice. More authentic experience can be found at the burger van outside the ground

Czech v ROI should be a cracker. Peretz started for Israel and played first half (0-0) game finished 2-2 at FT

Came off at half time at 0-0, another clean sheet for him (game finished 2-2)

Does seem odd to have announced that, organising these things must be a nightmare logistically, we don't need him anyway with Jos the Boss

Starts this evening for Israel away to Georgia

I don't think so, perhaps pre season, must have asked every other keeper in our history and got turned down before asking him

Kit man isn't he? Got to laugh

There are legends and then there are LEGENDS , wow , is he the only keeper there?

Its very poor, yet somehow nearly drew with Arsenal

Shame on you , he's a Saints / Sports Republic legend

Funny looking back, id expect Welington and Stewart to feature again from that line up.

It has to be. As a fanbase we're realistic, if Arsenal turn up and play as they have this season they'll more than likely beat us. But we take hope from games like their draw at Wolves and Mansfield gave them a good game in the last round, magic of the Cup and all that. Very few tickets remain for this game, expect it will sell out by end of the week.

Ground will be about half full i reckon, maybe bit less 13-15k at a guess. Chapel hasn't been opened. Itchen Centre blocks sold to Saints fans and middle blocks of Northam. Centre blocks of Kingsland say "Man Utd End" if you select one of those seats, not sure if people realise that. None of the corners have been on sale. Have they actually confirmed the two teams that will be playing? I've seen a few names added here and there but not one list?
