I don’t think even MLG could deny that if we finished the transfer window with only a couple more mediocre signings and still being stuck with ABK, Aribo etc - that can’t be classed as a good window
-
Can we do some Saints ones? Passing backwards when through on goal - £100 Possession being below 70% - £250
-
MLG has it time stamped into his calendar about when you make a judgement on who.
-
He’s been around since February now. End of the window will say it all.

What a bizarre statement, just all round. Adam Armstrong is far from being the best player in the world, but he is also far off being the worst. You were probably first off your seat when he scored at Wembley, or did you throw a tantrum? He’s all proven countless times to be excellent at Chanpionship level. I wouldn’t say he’s done anything wrong this season, you can’t expect much from a 5”9” striker when he’s up against 6”4” defenders, but his pressing and closing down has been very good, as well as his movement.
-
I see the window ending with ABK being released on a free on the final day, and immediately signing for someone else (a bit like Ryan Fraser did with us). Aribo will be sold next week, my guess on a low, low fee. Edozie will go for £5m to a team abroad. The club can wait and wait for transfer fees to come their way but equally the longer we wait the more desperate you are to get rid as well as buy. Bookmark this.

I remember going to Bournemouth, played with wide players, no one up top in the centre and having five strikers on the bench. 🤣
-
Johannes Spors - fraud, failure or fantastic? How would we all rate his first window?
-
What happened to that Scienza bloke? That’s all gone quiet. I get why clubs wait and wait and wait until the last minute to get a better deal, but do you know what, how nice would it be just for July 10th to have come around and Saints have sealed five signings? Pay the extra and get it done early.

Sekou Mara looked good on YouTube 😂
-
I quick google suggests this French and is nothing to be excited about. No doubt will probably be another Joe Aribo that we end up being stuck with for years.
-
BREAKING: Deal has been agreed Two tickets secured for myself and wifey on Saturday. First match of the season. HERE WE GO!
-
We don’t have the best record against Stoke at home, lots of tickets left - trying to sway wifey into coming to her first game in a few years 👀 Negotiations are on hold

Datro Fofana

Nope. He's quite a shy person, I can’t imagine him threatening to down tools, if it all fell through it means he has burnt his bridges and is then stuck. I’d say good man-management by the club, they kept him separate from the group whilst there was negotiations going on, now they’re over he’s back in the fold. It’s clear to tell who the ones are that don’t want to be here because they’ve been frozen out entirely (Aribo, Edozie, ABK), and that means they are just separated from the group in the meantime.

His new hair style has devalued him at £20M, plus he looks ridiculous with his socks so low down.
-
Has Ward-Prowse ever indicated he’d want to return? Seems like a lot of wishful thinking.
-
This guy is growing on me more and more every time I see him play. Very impressive again today.
-
I think most on here would’ve taken £40M for Dibling. Unfortunately, Everton probably isn’t the step up he was hoping for, but equally it’s probably his level, and the chance for a quick pay day. No “top eight” club is forking out £40-50M on a young player who has yet to do anything significant in the Premier League. Only if you’re stupid enough are you going to bid that.
-
There’s still two weeks left, who knows what will happen. I do find it hard to read some of the bollocks that is plastered all over social media about the window.
-
I’m more convinced Dibling and Fernandes will both be staying. I get the impression that the club would be more inclined to let TD leave but no club is forking out £50M on a player who hasn’t done anything of note so far in their career.
-
Jack Stephens looked like prime Paulo Maldini today in comparison to Josh Quarshie and Taylor Harwood-Bellis. Very much looking forward, and hoping more than anything to get some significant attacking options come in. Jay Robinson was hands down the best player on the pitch for us. Matty Fernandes not far behind. We got away with it today, especially that second half performance, Ipswich on a better day could’ve scored a couple whereas we didn’t look like getting even one. Onto the next.
-
One of the commentators today, the main one I think, said Saints are adapting having lost all their big players from last season… Last I checked only Ramsdale and KWP had gone. I wouldn’t have classed Onuachu or Sulemana as big losses 😂
-
THB, Quarshie and Downes have all been poor today
-
Over X amount of goals across a number of games is always a good one, especially if it’s teams that like to play out from the back (Russell Martin, Frank Lampard etc), and with that generally come fouls because the opposition gets frustrated. I like to go for stuff like that. 😊
