A whole bunch of my workmates are going to Garmische today - expected high of -24 with wind chill factor making it -36c. One of them is from South Africa and has never seen snow before and only time been in temps below 0c was in The Ski Dubai slope where she learnt to ski. She is in for a shock I reckon!!

Sorry Kev, only just seen this!! 3-0 away win - a few pre match beers in town and then a stonking meal in The Curry Lounge in the evening with Mrs EoA and daughter. Stayed at Mecure then another great meal, Sunday Roast in Sinatra's before setting off to visit my folks in Eastleigh. With Mrs EoA still on crutches and temps about -2c didn't hit town, but from what I saw, it looked very lively and gangs of girls staggering about in barely any clothes despite the temperature made me wish we had!!

Don't you mean something about a tearing them a new one!! The chilly, windy cloudy weather is more like a summers day in England and suiting us LOL.

As Phil alluded to earlier, Draught Ale is a rarity here in The Sand Pit. Kilkenny is about all we get, but from the booze stores more and more Bottled Ales are appearing. I have a choice of London Pride, Spitfire, Old Mans Ale, Leg Over and The Match Day staple of Old Speckled Hen at the moment. Lager if nowt else available but would go the Cider route first if possible.

From listening to the commentary on the night I was expecting to see about 6 built like brick sh!t houses Taffs surrounding SKD at the corner!!, but whilst having seen free kicks given for less, Kelv just 'wasn't strong enough to get around the Saints defender and Cardiff forward.
