  1. Hope the supporter in the east stand is doing okay.
  2. Stewart as he stubbed his toe during training
  3. Ramsdale isn't qualifying for England by sitting on the bench or playing for a team where he will proceed to let in tons of goals. That leaves only mid-table and above sides that are crying out for a number 1, of which I can think of... zero. I don't think a spot will open up for him unless their existing number 1s get injured. In my opinion, he can only realistically replace Trafford as a third-choice keeper under those conditions even after a good season, unless Johnstone and/or Pickford get injured. And if the latter two get injured, he'd probably be able to get into the side as part of a title-winning Saints squad...
  4. Knowing the management, it probably will be another youngster with potential. I get the feeling they believe the older core of the team is adequate. The best Championship players get snatched up by foreign clubs or PL clubs every summer anyway, so it comes back to trying to grab a player before they have a breakout season, whether that's young or experienced, English league or foreign league.
  5. If SR manage to unload Fraser I would be very impressed. That was the most immediately offensive signing to me last summer, completely unnecessary. I don't think he has much value neither financially nor on the pitch so I'm more expecting us to keep him until his contract expires next year. Maybe Still can get some use out of him.
  6. Most biologically impressive pitch in the Championship, you'll never sing that
  7. One of Stephens' duties is likely grooming Smallbone to take over the captaincy in 2028. He is JWP from Temu after all
  8. I haven't seen anything from Stephens that suggests he deserves a three-year extension. He is a mediocre player and is not good enough for the Premier League, which is where we are aiming to be. As a captain, he sets a terrible example with poor discipline (reminder: he missed NINE games from two red cards because of his conduct) and organisational skills. He should have been a squad player for this season only and nothing more.
  9. Seems like a decent signing with a lot of promising attributes. Let's hope he hits the ground running!
  10. The PL should stream those 10 games and give the revenue to the state. Now that's a way of filling the ten trillion pound black hole!
  11. Chelsea will offer him 30k per week and that will be that.
  12. Kicking a dead horse at this point guys.
  13. Onuachu the BFG - Ball Fumbling Giant
  14. Picture it, the terror on John Mousinho’s face as a seventh goes in and we move 10 points clear.
  15. Fans. Just a funny tidbit imo which sort of reflects how they see themselves nowadays
  16. Bournemouth don’t rate him any more and their fans call him Relegation Ramsdale
  17. Heart rate spiked; thought the club was waving goodbye.
  18. Yeah, the squad is mediocre and bar Ramsdale Fernandes and Dibling I’d be fine with selling any of them to be honest.
  19. That’s like not breaking up with a bad girlfriend because you’re worried you’ll never find better. Edozie is mediocre, he has had 3 years to find form and never really did. We should take all the cash we can get for these middling squad players
  20. He had a very good chance of moving upwards towards another Premier League side after the relegation season if he had just put his head down and done his best. I can’t fathom why he acts the way he does.
  21. Ipswich, Leicester (I don't believe they'll suffer as much as others do), Sheffield United, Birmingham and ourselves are all contenders for automatics. I also think that Norwich will be up there if they somehow keep their best players. Bristol City I believe will fall away this year.
  22. He was loaned to a Premier League team in West Ham last year, what makes you think Brighton would 1) loan him to a weaker league 2) just give him away if we got promoted? He's a pretty hot prospect still at age 20.
  23. I mean, nitpicking, we shouldn't be pushing for the Premier League at all costs. We need to do so in a financially stable way whilst avoiding purchasing players that could easily become deadwood later. We already have a decent core to push for promotion, even if it does require a bit of downsizing. Also, he's had 2 seasons of senior football. Even if it was only one, is he really 'untried'? 'Untried' was Shea Charles with literally one league appearance as a sub for Man City at the time of us purchasing him. A good scouting team is one that can identify players ready to make the step up. We don't have the status or finances to grab players just after they've exploded with success. We have to get them one step earlier.
  24. Linden Kemkaran of Reform has decided that trans books are to be removed from children’s libraries in Kent. This is a sad day. I was an early pioneer of trans books back in my school days, where my progressive mates and I used to read them regularly. On the outside there was a thick encyclopedia hardcover, and on the inside scantily clad women.
  25. The league is much stronger at the top end than when we were promoted.
