Ikon, too many years ago to recall exactly but it was a Saturday night and a lad in our company was a Spurs fan and thought he was a great servant for them and went over to talk, as all the talk was Spuds I suppose he felt comfortable in making that comment unaware an avid supporter was stood next to the Spuds fan, I don't condone attacking current or ex players but he was so smug, on this occassion, it was nothing less than deserved (a busted nose, nothing too sinister)

I find it strange that so many 'proven English managers' are dismissed out of hand on here by some yet others cry out for the same, I agree with the original post, Yeovil seems far beneath the level of a manager who 3 years ago took his premiership team to the cup final and finished 9th in the 'best league in the world'

Could be that too many people have too many ideas/opinions of what is most productive. Whoever this voice is many will knock him from the off as an attention seeker, I know a website is being created in order for all shareholders to log on to, I suppose to proxy to one group, will this be productive or will they still fall very short, percentage wise, to make an impact ? I do not think one man could do it, it would need a balanced group, a fan, a shareholder, someone media savvy and then some more.....

From memory Souness resigned whilst on holiday in Isreal after what Lowe thought was a 'good meeting' so came as a shock to him, why would either of them have wanted to stay ? they had both cashed in their gifted shares increasing their wealth by a considerable amount so with money in the bank maybe they were just not up for the fight.

I feel for anyone who is made redundant in these times and wish them well in their endeavours to find employment elsewhere, it is both wrong to use this news as a reason to praise the commercial nous of Crouch or as a further swipe at Lowe.
