Gents, thank you! Problem solved. My itunes updates have not worked on my pc for ages, each time I’ve tried it’s come up with error messages so I’ve just left it. Tonight I downloaded the latest version of itunes on to a laptop and tried to recover the phone. It didn’t work the first couple of times but I kept trying & it was third time lucky and it updated. I then connected the phone to my old pc hoping to sync it to my last saved profile but naturally that didn’t work and I got a message come up saying my phone with the new IS06 wasn’t compatible with the old itunes. As the itunes updates weren’t working instead I downloaded a fresh latest version of itunes & thankfully that worked, with it retaining all my music, setting & profile. I was then able to connect the phone I put my old profile back on it. Took a while but please I’ve retained all my numbers, apps, photos, etc. Thank you both!

I said a few seasons ago that fat people should have more expensive wider seats in their own seperate blocks (the additional costs might encourage them to spend some time dieting rather than stuffing food in their gobs) as my season ticket was next to some chunky fatso. When you add new contacts to the Galaxy S3, can you add them to the sim card?

Something to do with brake components being made of different materials these days? I took my car to the garage as it's still under warrenty as I had the same problem, but was told it was to do with the ceramic parts on my car and was normal. Put the stereo up louder, it's solved my problem

But if you take away the over analysis of the actual meaning of the word and just take it as a quick insult that didn’t have any premeditated thinking, how do you know the officer wasn’t being a bit of a pleb/idiot/jobsworth/retard (insert any number of quick insults here)? Is a minister not allow an opinion, or to have a rant at someone & say something in the heat of the moment? Of course he probably should rise above it, but we all do it, it’s such not something that a person should lose their job over is it?

This is part of the problem these days, people look into things in too much detail, over analyzing things, being hypersensative. If someone called me a pleb, I'd think of it in the same way as if they called me a muppet, a div, a spanner or whatever, I wouldn't try and get to the bottom of what the word meant or what they thought it meant, or what they really meant by their selection of that specific word at that point in time!

Fingers crossed, but the problem with the phone occured with the iOS6 update so had no connection with itunes/my pc, although I totally agree that I may now need the latest version on the computer to try & resolve it. Cheers to you & Hypo, will give it a go at the weekend

Cheers Hypo, I did think about putting the latest version of itunes on to my laptop and seeing if that makes a difference as it's currently on an old pc which is itself having some issues with recent versions of itunes. I'm back in the uk at the weekend, I'll give it a go then.
