Doubt it will go lower than 17 aways TBH.
-
I heard we sold around 2,500 for last night's game, but there were only around 1,700 there. So clearly a lot of people seeing it as a cheap game to get an extra credit.....
-
Generally they will set the first threshold of aways at a level such that it will always go to the second threshold. Which means that there will be less than 1,300 fans on 18+ aways. But I suspect not that many less, would guess there is between 1,000 and 1,200.

Surely not!!!!

Alfred House at the Echo seems to be hinting at some interest in Manning. This could surely only be from Goztepe or Valenciennes… https://x.com/alfiehouseecho/status/1829078351442546872?s=46&t=_0WF3xmOPMkvDJN1bRNQcA

Didn’t that happen a while back??

If he thought Everton fans were tetchy after a poor display, good luck to him at Marseille…….
-
He was probably around 6 years old at the time of Oliver Bierhoff. He’s a fcuking Man United follower as well… (I can’t bring myself to say “fan”)
-
Alex Fcuking Crook just been on Talk Sport talking up the Ward Prowse loan rumour….
-
He'll love our pink kit then. Speaking as another person blocked by Alex Crook BTW (just catching up on last night's posts on this thread, having been at Cardiff; my sin was to dispute both his sources and his grammar.....)

Aye. But we would presumably have to go north by a few million for Arsenal to accept it. Arsenal know that Wolves are not the only club keen on him. I think that if we could get a loan with an option to buy for £25 million next summer if and only if we stay up, we should be absolutely all-in for that.
-
But that's pretty much the deal we did for Ings 6 years ago. Surely a few million on top of that (£25m fee if we stay up) wouldn't be unreasonable.....
-
Ramsdale still seems to be a bit of a fallback option. Albeit expensive. It could be that if we end up with Ramsdale, it prevents a signing in a more attacking part of the pitch.
-
If we are getting a striker in on loan, then we would have to be buying Ramsdale outright (assuming it is Ramsdale and not the Feyenoord keeper). Can anybody really see us spending more than £25 million to sign Ramsdale??
-
Big wages though…..
-
I don't understand the logic of playing Brereton in a wide position. He looks like a proper old-fashioned striker to me. Thought he was wasted in a wide position at Newcastle. That said, I don't particularly rate Edozie either; often lacking in an end product. Would have been marvellous if we could have done some sort of swap deal involving Jack Clarke and Ross Stewart; Sunderland aren't that stupid though sadly.
-
"If he's better than shit...." 😃😃😃
-
I really can’t imagine Goztepe being able to afford his wages.
-
Signing Rui Patricio would arguably fit the bill if the (deluded and bordering on mad) intention is for Bazunu to be the first choice when he is fit again.
-
Can Rui Patricio do passing triangles in his own 6-yard box though??
-
You have to wonder why Rui Patricio would want to sign for Goztepe. Are we turning Portuguese, to (sort of) nick a Vapors song???
-
Well, this is an interesting turn of events……. Mmmmmm 🤔 https://x.com/justsaints_/status/1825999696768413727?s=46&t=_0WF3xmOPMkvDJN1bRNQcA

Strasbourg are a feeder club for Chelsea. There could be a link between the deal for Lesley and any deal for Mara. Not complaining, mind…
-
I don’t think we will sign 1 or 2 before the end of the window, let alone before the Newcastle game. The biscuit tin is empty.
-
I’m fairly sure we have spent nearer to £70 million….
