would be happy with surman coming back but where would he play? JP and AL wide left and right MS and DH in the middle is good enough to win this league. Yes it would be good to have him in the squad but im not sure he would want to drop back to L1 just to be a squad player

releasing Thomas suggests to me that AP has seen enough of Martin to not need him, especially as he was reportedly on alot of money. James showed this season he is not good enough for what we want to achieve. Lets not start moaning about having no players for x position until we know who is lined up to replace them.

i know what you're saying and agree to a certain extent but when i was growing up, times were different. My parents knew where i was and i stayed within the boundaries set by them i wouldnt dare go against them, nowadays most kids dont respect anyone or anything, let alone rules set by parents. I remember playing football on my local rec all the time, hardly ever did anything else apart from maybe a bike ride around a country park. Now all kids seem to want to do is gather in car parks on them bloody loud mopeds and cause as much grief as possible

yes, no-one was happy about not making playoffs, but certain factions of the media put 2+2 together and made 2.5 million! It didnt take a rocket scientist to work out the real reason why ML wasnt there but british media being british media decided it must be down to not making playoffs. I thought it was just the americans that cooked up conspiracy theories.

NC imo had every right to comment on MLT and Lawrie. Being football men themselves and knowing how the media get things wrong, often, they should have known better than to shout their mouths off without really knowing the facts. MLT will always be a hero to me for what he did on the pitch but that doesnt mean he is right in this case.
