  1. Not one of those fans was forced to go, they went out of choice knowing full well it was a game of football in a freezing cold country that is relatively expensive. There are no certainties in football at all, any team can lose. If I go to the cinema and don't like the film, I don't ask for my money back and I don't expect it to be offered through a whip round by the staff. This is just more woke crap.
  2. easy pay day for ex-players that should have saved more
  3. details emailed, be there an hour before but if you're late for the coach departure time, then you wont get on, which seems pretty obvious. So, you don't ned to be there an hour before, just be there before it leaves. What time is KO?
  4. The question was if Markus was still in charge, not Cortese.
  5. Looks promising. I’m on the 9.18 out of KX. Had visions of getting there and then staying on for the return straight back.
  6. I was wondering the other day where would we be now if Markus had not sadly passed. Would he have carried on financing Cortese? Would he have got bored? Would he have sold to a skint chinaman? I think we’d be Bournemouth.
  7. Going up for this one, the start of a glorious cup run no doubt. Expecting changes, McCarthy - Roselev, Our Jack, Quarsiemodo, Edwards, Beef, Jander, Oh no Joe Aribo, Matsuki, Jay and Archer. Will maybe scrape a 2-1 win but hardly confident of even that.

    PROTEST

    I think that might help

    PROTEST

Let’s all show red cards at the next game. That will surely do the trick.
  10. Anyone know which IPTV channel is showing the game ?
  11. I was there for Ali Dia, still recall being quite impressed for the first few minutes or so Neil Ruddock running the entire length of the pitch to headbutt a Notts County player Matt's penalty miss (well, keeper saved it) at the Archers Road end
  12. pretty sure he knows that
  13. yes, I mean I missed Pulp at Glasto 95 (instead of The Stone Roses) and Nirvana at the Joiners, but I was there for Ben (sure that was his name, didn't see the shirt pull, I was Under the East and still coming 'straight back down to to earth' - ta da
  14. Curiosity Killed the Cat in our first (I think) Sky live game at the Dell, what a performance, stays with me forever. Cant remember who we played and what the score was, Aston Villa maybe?
  15. And do you really think P&O have an allocation for Blackburn away? I can imagine the middle class family from St Albans travelling down to Southampton a day earlier to pick up their match tickets for a train trip to Ewood Park. Before coming all the way back to catch the cruise on Sunday morning. Nah, that doesn't add up.
  16. If you go to enough away games then it ain't an issue anyway, as the OP knows cause he goes to most. I personally like the fact that there's empty seats, means I can move away random people I don't want to stand next to.
  17. What did it go down to ? Aways.
  18. I guess they work out how many tickets they have and how to shift the most in just a few days. No point in having 2500 and then setting the bar at 25 always which only 500 qualify for. I got 21 so thats me sorted.
  19. Very glad to be going back then. As you say, pay, stand and be entertained. The 4_1 at QPR was a great day, passed my driving test in the morning, got steamed in London and knocked out (by a mate) late that night back in Eastleigh. Happy days. Not the same by any stretch these days. if we’d won our last two games in north London we’d have finished third. I’ll put in a shout for Brett Omerod, went under the JB radar but so pivotal that 2003 season.
  20. I played golf with Matt the other day and we talked about that hat trick. He’s surprised it isn’t talked about more. That lob for the third (I think) was world class.
  21. Beresdord
  22. Anti
  23. Yeah, gamble on Lavia and sold him for 50 mil. I’d have that gamble

    Covid

If only they had caries on with the vaccine programme
  25. He owes HMRC so basically didn’t pay taxes assume. You only pay tax on what you’ve earnt (except some IHT). So he spent that money on something else. No sympathy whatsoever.
