One word: "Consortium". He has already tried to buy Wolves backed by unnamed but "UK Born and based" partners; and he was linked originally to us about 2 years ago, again with a consortium of moneymen behind him. Brian Kennedy rings a bell.

IMHO: 1) He is a footballing man, something we have been screaming out for on here for years. He isnt an IT salesman or a property dealer, he is 100% football. 2) He has been linked in various ventures before with big money from the Middle East. 3) He kind of knows the club from a working level not a fan level. 4) He is a "name" and therefore would find it easier to attract other "names" to the staff as and when needed (be it players or moneymen) 5) He has really good media links. Im not sure Lynham, Green or Jackson can call up as many people at Sky, BBC and ITV as GS could.
