That would be great, but the world is in a financial meltdown. No-one in their right mind is going to stick £10,000,000 into an ex-Premiership, ex-Championship football club that has suffered Administration, falling gates and 2 relegations in 5 years.
I cant think of a single club that has been taken over my a moneybags owner whilst being in League 1. We might have stood a chance of a rich(er) new owner if we had stayed up in the CCC this year and not gone into Administration as we would have had a decent stab at the dream promotion to the Prem at the end of the season with some light investment. but not now. It would take 3 years minimum (IMHO) to get back to the Premiership from where are now, plus a LOT of spending.
