Yep, reckon that's what most think you are.

Maybe we'll have a pre season this year Maybe we'll buy players early in the window Maybe we've got a much better squad now than the opening day of the season There is a joker on here, and it's you my friend.

LOL

Mate, with respect, you're being a plank.
-
Truth? Are you Cortese? Yeah...those we don't want will go. Everyone else is on decent money, and will cost big money to go anywhere else. In case you hadn't noticed, there isn't a bucket load of money sloshing around. Do you really think we won't improve the squad in the summer?

Oh do sort yourself out mate. FFS.

Maybe they give a s h i t.....is that bad?

I would say he's integral to the team. You can see the weakness when he's injured. Bottom line, he's a very good player. OK, so he's been sent off today, but some of you guys need to wind your necks in - chill......what will be, will be.

Tackle according to Jeff Stelling

Apparently we spent £1m on Puncheon.......?! Gotta laugh at them, and I really hope we save up a Bristol Rovers away performance for Dean Court (or whatever it's called now) and a Huddersfield home performance for the SMS game.

True....0 out of 2 for his local area then!
-
I know....I'm assuming he's got a house in Sheffield.... I'm never too sure whether to trust an MP who represents people from an area that they're not connected to. He seems to go wherever he has a chance of being elected.
-
I thought he was going to stick one on Brown if he'd have said 'Nick agrees with me' once more.

Chalfont St Giles according to Wiki.

He doesn't sound like your average Sheffield resident....

I reckon it's down to AA getting all the TV money up front (£32m parachute + £5m prize I think), selling players for c. £10m (max), flogging ground to anyone who will take it for £5- £10m. So...total of around £52m. Deduct running costs of £4m per month for April and May (funded by Chanrai), plus the remainder of his loan (say, £15m), plus the AA fee of £3m, less football debts of c. £10m. So, around £36m. Leaves around £16m for about £75m of creditors, or roughly 30 p in the £. Figures may be iffy, but I think the theory is fairly sound. So....AA then has a football club with no ground, no training ground, a wage bill of c £1 - £2m per month and a possible points deduction to give away to any potential owner. Possibly a consortium of local businessman who are fans....but can't see anyone else jumping on the bandwagon.
-
Isn't that the same script that Mark Jacob followed??!

They still have income due from Sky.If AA has negotiated the advance of it all, and has player sales lined up (ok, that will only be a few million), then he may well be able to put that up as an 'offer' to try and get shot of the creditors. He may also include the sale of FP in that. Granted though that all income will need to have costs of admin, and continued running of the club deducted. I forsee AA telling them to take it or leave it, pointing out that every week that goes by means that the amount they can pay will be reduced due to ongoing running costs. If they agree (yeah, right), then he's left with a debt free club, with large contracts in place, a minus 15 start and no ground to give away to any one who fancies it.....Cracking!

Reason three - he gets cut rate deals at the executive services 'warehouse' in Horton Heath

Not quite the lesson required....

Did they lock you up?

Yes, been with them about 8 times since 2005, and got two more sorted for this year (May bank holiday and August). As others have said, they can be pricey, but it depends on the site and tuype of caravan - last year we did Serignan Plage for a week (on the Med in Languedoc) and a week in Roda De Bara, south of Barcelona. Cost in August was 50% more than our holiday for the same period this year where we're going to Lido di Jesolo nr Venice and Lake Annecy. I tend to avoid the sites around Brittany and the Vendee (have been to the Vendee once with them), as I don't really want my holiday to feel like Britain abroad. Some sites are better than others, and the ones that I wouldn't rush back to would be those that we've had overnighters in up north. Decent sites in Dordogne (Le Bugue, Salignac and Sarlat I've been to). Spanish sites (Playa D'Aro and Roda de Bara) are good, but bigger. Serignan (the smaller of the two) and Vias are good, but Vias is much more crowded and I would choose Serignan first. The Loire has decent sites and we've been to most of them for 2 or 3 days. Likewise, sites at Royan and Labenne Ocean (Gascony) are very good. Some of the sites I've been to at the end of May, I wouldn't want to go to in the height of summer as they would be mentally busy (Royan, Argeles). I'm a but surprised that some have said Keycamp are cheaper - not in my experience. Both, though, hook you in on the 'previous customer discount' basis, which tends to keep you brand loyal. Canvas is much cheaper, but I don't think the sites are as good. When they do share sites, Canvas tend to have the poorer pitch - in Roda De Bara for example, Canvas were miles up the hill. Friends who have been with all three say Keycamp / Eurocamp are much of a muchness (Keycamp possibly slightly better), and Canvas the cheaper version. All in all, I like their holidays. Sites are too limited for my liking and it is a bit of pot luck on the pitches that you get - some Eurocamp pitches are better than others on the same site, so it's luck of the draw.

Isn't it ridiculous that he probably earned more in a week at Pompey this season, after he'd been retired for a year through injury, than he did at the height of his playing powers for us. Shocking. But great job Antti:D

You'll be fine with a 3 pointer and £60. My mate was done in C/Ford doing 44 in a 30 last Friday and got the minimum 3 and £60

It seems immoral to me that potentially the parachute money and tv prize money is effectively being used to pay players and keep the club going but not to address the debt. The only reason the players are at the top of the list is because they are classed as a 'football debt' and Pompey won't get a place in the FL if they don't pay their football debts. The whole thing sucks.
