All these new buildings 'going up' in Southampton...

I think you can consider that a close shave. Give the family an extra big hug tonight. Life's too short, etc. -
A fan of number 13, Glasgow?

LIVE DEBATE: The EU - in or out - Clegg vs Farage

Miliband shítting himself over Farage being on leadership debates next year. http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/apr/03/nigel-farage-tv-election-debates-ed-miliband -
Is this an invocation of mighty number 17, Viking Warrior? I'm going to play along. Yes, the topic should be about Glasgow. Too few threads feature a discussion of his qualities.

This thread is really a primer for future replies, bTripz. In my many ding-dongs with people on this site, I've observed quite a few of these tactics being employed. Sometimes, I even bother pointing it out. Now, I'm not necessarily saying these people are forum spies, but if they're not, they should probably consider taking it up as an option. Why not get paid for something you're doing anyway?

LIVE DEBATE: The EU - in or out - Clegg vs Farage
pap replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Lounge
The roots of Clegg's failure lie in the prior opportunism of the Lib Dems. This was a party that campaigned for an in-out referendum back in 2009. Clegg's problem now is exactly the same as it was during tuition fees. Says one thing and does another. 2009 was only five years ago. None of the issues that existed then have been dealt with in any meaningful way, so people are naturally going to wonder why the Lib Dem's have changed their minds so much in the interim. The answer that most will reach is that they didn't really believe it in the first place. Correctly, in my opinion. -
This is about spies, bTripz. Your video is amusing, but is it relevant?

I think we've been missing this one since ol' Verbal got de-fanged. Can you oblige?

Topic Dilution, right there. Stooge

Yes, well this one is just getting going. I feel you need to put the cat amongst the pigeons and name a potential spy ( e.g. Sarb is here on behalf of Evil Landlords Association, etc).

Sorry bear. I'm now very disappointed. I was in love with the idea that you might be a furry 007. I know find that much like myself, you're doing this for lols and personal satisfaction. I presume there is no Bear Intelligence 6?

Stopping humanity from having a discussion to promote the interests of bear-kind, eh? You bastard!

The claim that internet forums are serious business is one that is frequently made here, albeit mostly in jest, and mostly aimed at wordy bastards like me that take a dictionary to the crapper. Leaving aside the fun and games aspect, are internet forums really serious business? If one looks at the substance of cryptome's "Gentleperson's Guide to Forum Spies" with any degree of credibility, looks like it just might be. http://cryptome.org/2012/07/gent-forum-spies.htm Would like some opinions, of course. However, I invite anyone who wants to be less than serious to play disinfo bingo instead ( ascribe the listed traits in the link to TSW posters for fun, etc ). Internet forums. Serious business?

It's a case study in people believing what they want, Barry. You believed I'd never apologise if I was wrong

LIVE DEBATE: The EU - in or out - Clegg vs Farage
pap replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Lounge
I've seen Clegg's act plenty of times on here. To SaintsWeb's posters' credit, they did it with significantly more variety than this melon managed. Over the two debates, I lost count of the amount of times that Clegg said "fantasy". It was also highly amusing to see Clegg accuse Farage of fear-mongering while stating that three million British jobs were on the line if we left. Looks like my opinion back in the original thread has been vindicated by events, not that I'm claiming much from this. It was a real no-brainer. Clegg got eviscerated by Farage in this debate. Worse to come in the European elections. -
Week 1 http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=789860 Week 2. Titanfall crawled underneath inFamous' arse, so my bad on the outsold for 2 weeks claim. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=793739 No other XBone game in the top ten.

Got the MGS game tonight for 25KUP, which is a fair enough price. Gorgeous game. Probably got a measure of sympathy with the price, even at 25UKP. Still, it's nothing new. Back in the PS2 days, most sales of Zone of the Enders were driven by the MGS2 demo, just as many sales of Crackdown were made with the Halo beta in mind. This at least seems honest. The PS4 version has outsold Titanfall on XBox One for the last two weeks. That might just be the low price kicking in, except inFamous: Second Son, a full pricer and PS4 exclusive, has had top spot throughout.
