Lot of bitter Pompey fans on twitter again tonight. Haha

Go on Rickie

Was thinking this the other day and agree. I don't think Premier League clubs should be able to take players on loan, either you can afford to buy them or you can't.
-
I reckon it would have been better if Shaw or Clyne played, but I guess we will never know. We created many chances against Sunderland with Shaw then Clyne playing, it was just a case of not being able to finish them off. But then I guess Jay Rod was playing so that could of been the difference.

I'm hoping there won't be too many games where both Clyne and Shaw are missing. Saturday was concerning, it's obvious we are going to struggle to create chances when these two are out. Hopefully once Chambers becomes more confident he can push up more, but for me Clyne has to start against West Ham. I'm assuming Targett isn't anywhere near ready to be back up for Shaw yet?

Why has everyone reverted to questioning the manger ?

I'm happy with consolidation this season. But never though we would make the top 6 or thought we had a midfield better than Man U. These claims are just laughable. A top ten finish is achievable, but only if we are lucky with the injuries and up front can click, which as yet hasn't happened. -

I think it's fine to have Europe as an aim, but there is absolutely no way we can achieve this this season, or probably next season. Unless of course we can win a cup. -

I think this is it. There's talk that we want to get into Europe, but for me a season of consolidation whilst finishing slightly higher than last year would be progress. Then you push on again the season after. I hope Cortese is as patient though, unfortunately I don't think he is. -
There will always be shocking referee decisions throughout the season, some will go our way, some won't. We really shouldn't have to worry about these decisions though, we should be able to win games without relying on a penalty to get something out of a game
-
We created more chances against West Brom and Sunderland because one of Shaw and Clyne were playing. When both don't play we will struggle, as yesterday proved
-
We've only played three games so far haven't we? Just checking as this is absolutely ridiculous at this stage. As much as I was annoyed and deflated not just by the result but by the way we played, we really shouldn't be discussing this after 3 bloody games. On reflection we are more solid at the back than we were, something just needs to click up front. However this obviously needs to happen sooner rather later.
-
We have two weeks off but unfortunately most of our players will be on international duty so not much time to work on the training ground with all of them. Hate international breaks!
-
Chambers has done a great job so far and will be a great player. However with Clyne we have more of an attacking threat. Clyne definitely needs to start the west ham game. Along with shaw.

Utter rubbish today. That's what happens when you don't/can't play your first choice full backs. There was nothing going forward down the wings and we looked so weak, especially at left back, when they attacked us down the wings. Fox is not a Premier League player. As well as Chambers has played so far I would start Clyne next game. I would also be tempted to bring Cork back in, unless obviously we sell him. (Which would be an absolutely stupid decision) Osvaldo looks too light weight to me at the moment. Lallana was one of our best players today then we bloody went and took him off! After that we created nothing. At the moment it's really not looking good.

This. However if he wants to go what can we do?

Well a lot of posters appear unintelligent when they post on here. However I know I am not unintelligent

Oh no I'm going to be caught by the grammar police

Tried to get tiks online this morning but couldn't as it still said 'restrictions apply' I rang the 0845 tik office number and they sold them to me over the phone. Although I'm guessing if they don't have it on the database at the tik office you probably won't be able to get them over the phone. Worth a try though

Urgh. I would absolutely love to play a match against him and whack him over the head with my hockey stick.
-
Ah good my hockey game would of clashed on the Saturday! Now if only they could move the man city game in December too to the Sunday
-
In case anyone has the same problem I was unable to buy tickets online as they still had my account as restricted sales. But I rang up the 0845 ticket number and they sold them to me over the phone

I know someone already corrected me! Just seems a rare event to complete the 90mins!

Well shows how much I can remember from last season haha. It does seem to be a rarity though. Really hope he does well this season and gets a good run in the side.
