Ralph lost the players and Jones doesn't seem to have found them. A whole year of relegation form. A new manager should have been installed during the summer when it was plain that's what was needed. I don't blame Jones for this shambles although he is clearly out of his depth. Nope, the blame lies at the top. We're doomed to relegation.

I went out and have only just seen the score. What a shambles this club is. Not sure that I can be arsed any more.

At least lets have some gossip on aircraft heading in our direction.

I can only hope that Forest are going to knacker themselves in this game because I'm seeing a team that's much more up for a relegation scrap than Saints.

Anyone really see the slightest prospect of a decent goalscorer signing for Saints this month? It'd need a whole heap of persuasion and cash to avoid being laughed at. Maybe a loan but even then I'm sceptical.

I reckon we might be a decent mid table outfit in the Championship next season. Just so long as we find some way to score goals.

Those of us of a certain age know what the real division names are.

Saints just don't have any sort of goal threat. That is the reason that we'll be in the 2nd division next season.

We stopped trying to win the game ( if we ever did) and the inevitable happened.

These long balls might to Adams are just a pass to the opposition. Channel passes from higher up are what we need.

Saints still missing good chances though. That is their biggest problem. Could have had a second.

What can I say?

I think Fulham are comfortable in knowing that Saints are unlikely to score. They look suitably relaxed.

Unbelievably gave the ball away and then lucky not to concede. At least watching Saints is consistently excruciating.

Whether Saints concede a lucky deflected goal or a brilliant strike that breaks the net it doesn't matter. Our big, big problem is in converting chances to goals. It's been that way for a long time now and this game will likely pan out in just the same way as all those that preceded in 2022.

Saints playing balls up the pitch as though there's some 6'4" goalscorer there. They've all gone folks.
