  1. I imagine the statue will end up looking something like this. To really bring the essence of the fans
  2. Gasps of non astonishment.
  3. Smax. An awesome car to drive
  4. Sparrowhawks are very common garden birds and often take a little bird of the feeders or a pigeon off our roof. Brilliant birds and stunning to watch. I've seen one grab a magpie drag it to a puddle and drown it. This is a photo of one in our garden from a while back. Not great but taken on a phone and not my dslr
  5. Lol, it's our mid life crisis. We couldn't quite face the fact that the next child in our lives was going to be a grandchild.
  6. Cheers chaps. Forms ordered. Still buzzing this morning, he is curled up asleep on my chest at the moment. Few moments beat this. I know it's not very 'manly' to post pics but I don't care at the moment
  7. Benjamin , born at 10 am. Our third boy. Awaiting the mini version of the new kit. Been 9 years since our last one, bowled over by the emotion when I held him for the first time , you'd think the impact would be less with each one but its just wonderful. Had some Cr*p at work recently and this has put life firmly into perspective Right for glenmorangie then bed I think
  8. Yep the diesel is a cracking model as well and much more fuel efficient, we had a choice of 2 and the performance of the 2.5 was just amazing - I'm afraid we got rather caught up in th emoment and bought that one rather than the sensible option. We have had 2-3 MPV's for the kids and the Smax is by far the best one I've ever driven and also the most practical as well. Everything folds flat so you can turn it into a van if you need to shift stuff, even has a decent boot with all 7 seats up , something a lot of them don't. There is a good 5th gear with VBH driving some OAPs around a track in the 2.5
  9. Should mate... should
  10. Well I have to say I grew up with Saints always being in the top flight, and during that time I really didn't spend any real time looking at the lower divisions at all. To me then Division 3 was dross and not worthy of attention. I was gutted when we were relegated , doubly so when we went down again. I never in my dreams thought I'd actually enjoy my football more then than I had done for years and years. The unmitigated joy of starting a match being favourites and scoring freely. Enjoyed meeting and talking to other fans more as well. Although we are back where we belong now I will have infinitely more respect for the lower divisions than I did. The last 3 years have been magic , I may be alone, but I'm actually a little nervous about the coming season.
  11. we have one that is brilliant 2.5ml turbo petrol - it goes like a dream - solid build and seats are fantastically simple and brilliantly designed
  12. This 100%
  13. LOL reminds me of that episode of South Park
  14. interesting , I'd forgotten about the cream 3rd shirt 96-97 - not a classic
  15. I am not disputing the don't speed , won't get nicked argument at all. My only sadness is in this world of increasing selfishness I tout it was nice that someone I didn't know felt compelled to warn me of an upcoming trap. They could have just thought 'feck em' but they didn't.
  16. We have a little residential road in our town that the police often set a speed trap up on, it is not an accident hotspot ( never been one in the 12 years I have lived here) or near a school etc but there is a slight hill so what happen is, aseople come around the corner at 30 mph by the time you hit the bottom you will be doing 35 unless you brake. The problem is everyone now drives around that corner looking solely at their speedometer
  17. The lineup will depend entirely upon who and where we are playing, art of war and all that
  18. I think I love him even more now, what an honest , grounded , intelligent man he is. Glad my son is named for him
  19. Contrary to popular belief the worst Forecast wasn't the one made in the 80's by Michael Fish when he said there was no chance of a hurricane.
  20. Sooo close , should have gone with the monkey chicken petting zoo
  21. Contrary to some peoples recollections noone called Papa Mango ever played for Saints
  22. There still is in Sussex mate - wonder if I'll get a fine for using my hose as a siphon to drain my garage?
  23. Sorry being completely thick here , why would the creditors vote against this, surely its either accept this or get the square root of bugger all ( I appreciate they ammount to virtually the same monetarily) but from a purely business perspective wouldn't they rather have something no matter how small rather than nothing? I know thats not what we would want but ....
  24. I'm afraid this will be the case and nothing else - and although 40p in the pound may be the inital offer god only knows what it will end up as
