I don't get the comments on both RM threads that he inherited a shit show,. As far as I can see he was given a clean slate; all the worst players from last season shipped out, a new coaching team in place , new DoF, PL standard loans and aquations giving him pretty much a team of players who have played in the premier league, playing in a league which is now light years below the standard of the premier league, the full backing of his philosophy throughout the club. I would say he was given the tools to succeed in achieving promotion from this league.

Bit of a tricky one, I voted wrong man, but if we go up he'll be the right man, but if we go up he'll definitely be the wrong man because if he persists with his dogma we will be cannon fodder in the prem.. So the conflict in my head has him wrong by a majority of 2-1. edit , I am talking about end of season, I don’t advocate changing now.

He is "walking" it now, although with limited success.

Mara has played a blinder, pretending to be really crap to lull Coventry into complacency. Motm for me

I don’t know where that came from

Maybe that’s what they rumbled, if we have ten chances and they have three that would be enough for a victory regardless of possession stats?
-
I don’t like either of them, HTH

I have a vague recollection, I think we went up as champions that year with something like 120 points. It was the same year I had to take out a restraining order on Margot Robbie and the CIA asked me to be president of the USA. It’s all coming back to me now.

I’d rather go for a beer with NJ than I would with Russ.

Why have one rigid “system”? Ralph didn’t have a plan b or c, nor does Russ. Plenty of other manages have systems but aren’t afraid adapt in game if the situation requires it.

What flavour crisps were they?

Darling you’ve got to let me know ?

I wish he hadn’t come here in the first place. I never felt he was the right fit after the shit we have been through and what we needed to achieve this season.

Sherriff Martin was quickly on the scene, showing extreme bravery, but the suspect got away when deputy Baz handcuffed himself to a lamppost and Deputy Che arrived at the wrong saloon.

I did, but the bottle had a hole in the bottom and it leaked faster than I could drink it!
-
He wouldn’t be safe for long if we went up, if he persists with the Russball dogma we would get shredded every game.

The lack of atmosphere at City is unbelievable, you could have a conversation from on side of the ground to another. *unbelivably crap that is

Q. What is the difference between a Ferrari and a dead prostitute? A. I don't have a Ferrari in my garage

Ipswich have a "never say day" team spirit, that became clear very early on this season. We haven't had that for years, which one reason we dropped out of the premier league without a whimper, or even barely even a yellow card. We are like the Harlem Globetrotters of the championship! I didn't have a problem with your sides physicality in Monday's game, although a lot on here did. Why not ,I say, all is fair in love and war when playing for the big prizes. Good luck to you, your impressive team and manager.

All I ask is this....

Yes of course fine margins come into play at times, but I think in the case of England's failure, with the best squad in a generation at his disposal, is wholly down to Southgate's ineptitude. In Saints case Martin has a lot to answer for, again, with arguably the best squad in the Championship. Martin may go on to be a good manager, but I personally feel he was too much of a gamble with so much at stake.

Well don’t let old misery guts here taint it for you, I’m just raw and angry that we seem to have blown it. I feel the same way as I did when Southgate blew two consecutive finals. Enjoy the game.
