  1. Could help if we are heading for the Riverdance playoffs
  2. I hope he starts with broadly the same team as tonight, I don’t mind Frasier in for Brooks l (who was ok tonight), pretty much our strongest lineup in my view.
  3. I’d just like to reiterate, I never doubted Russ for a minute. disclaimer Please don’t refer to previous posts that may or may not have expressed views that could be interpreted as doubts, I think I may have been hacked, it’s possible I could be hacked again when we next lose.
  4. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/24254507.southampton-forward-hit-three-match-fa-suspension/
  5. I don’t think home is a massive advantage at this stage, the pressure can be huge and if the fans get nervous it can negatively impact the players. Contenders in the top two divisions are starting to choke under that huge pressure and expectation.
  6. I just thought risk was taken to a new level on Saturday and we were lucky to escape on a couple of occasions
  7. I know we model ourselves on City, but even they will hoof it out of defence when the need arises, I felt we were playing Russian roulette across the back at times on Saturday
  8. I’m not sure how I feel about that, I really don’t want City to win the title. Or win anything until the are competing fairly.
  9. I always had faith in Russ, or maybe I never did, or maybe I have flip flopped, but one thing I can be certain of, is one of those things is true.
  10. Fair enough if that is the case, but my response was largely to the point expressed by the poster that the purported action or inaction by Russell was grounds for admiration.
  11. Regardless of one’s political beliefs, i would say that is the worst thing he has done and proves how utterly classless the man is. I’m sure even Starmer would shake Rishi’s hand on such an occasion.
  12. So he inherited a fresh start and a clean slate, in a much less competitive league, not a “shit-show”?
  13. I don't get the comments on both RM threads that he inherited a shit show,. As far as I can see he was given a clean slate; all the worst players from last season shipped out, a new coaching team in place , new DoF, PL standard loans and aquations giving him pretty much a team of players who have played in the premier league, playing in a league which is now light years below the standard of the premier league, the full backing of his philosophy throughout the club. I would say he was given the tools to succeed in achieving promotion from this league.
  14. Bit of a tricky one, I voted wrong man, but if we go up he'll be the right man, but if we go up he'll definitely be the wrong man because if he persists with his dogma we will be cannon fodder in the prem.. So the conflict in my head has him wrong by a majority of 2-1. edit , I am talking about end of season, I don’t advocate changing now.
  15. He is "walking" it now, although with limited success.
  16. Yawnie yawn yawn
  17. His hairdo is
  18. Mara has played a blinder, pretending to be really crap to lull Coventry into complacency. Motm for me
  19. I don’t know where that came from
  20. Maybe that’s what they rumbled, if we have ten chances and they have three that would be enough for a victory regardless of possession stats?
  21. I don’t like either of them, HTH
  22. I have a vague recollection, I think we went up as champions that year with something like 120 points. It was the same year I had to take out a restraining order on Margot Robbie and the CIA asked me to be president of the USA. It’s all coming back to me now.
  23. I’d rather go for a beer with NJ than I would with Russ.
