Wonder if we're taking confidence from what Leicester have done, it is possible to do it with this club, although unlikely, but our results against the top sides show we are good enough when we're on it to beat them. Strangely the thing that has let us down this year is the performances against the lesser teams, which hasn't been the problem over the last few years, maybe due to us playing in a more counter attacking way?

He's done a job, especially recently and fair play to him for that. However I still think we need a replacement for him. Keep one of Cedric/Martina in the summer, and bring in a better RB. Shame we didn't go for Byram or Trippier IMO.

We always seem to leave it til the last minute to try and negotiate contracts, why hasn't the new contract been discussed with him before now? The same happened with Poch (although think he decided he wanted to leave as soon as Cortese left). We seem to do the same thing with players, letting them into the last 18 months of their contracts. Wanyama's should have been sorted last summer, as should Clyne's the summer before.

Interesting, seeing as though he's not even been a first XI starter for us this season.

Would be awful if this only gets 10/15k there...should be a sold out stadium. What was that game a few years ago which was completely irrelevant, against ex saints. That got a pretty much full stadium IIRC...

Would be nice...can't imagine West Ham not finishing above us though, especially as they're out the cup. If they had beat Man Utd in the cup then maybe they would drop their league form.

Sign a new contract? I think he'll see his current one out, and then leave next summer. Sure this will affect the players though, as the majority of them are his buys. Hopefully we'll show some real ambition this summer and get him to sign a new deal.

Pinch of salt I think. Should get mega bucks for him if he goes to Chelsea - and maybe a chance to do a swap for Begovic which wouldn't be the worst of deals.

Pretty certain that 8th doesn't get Europe whatever happens. I have full trust in Ronald. If we keep everyone, then we probably need a RB and maybe another attacking player. Possibly a backup keeper assuming Stekelenburg will go back to Fulham or go elsewhere. Baring in mind that Wanyama and Mane are 90% gone, I'd like to see us go and buy a top young wide player, and another CM (unless Romeu is the replacement and Reed steps up). At the end of the day, if we offer the money, then players will come. Would love to get Chamberlain back and we can help him rebuild his career.

Mane and Wanyama are pretty much certainties, despite both having pretty poor seasons. VVD is the concern as he's been brilliant, but we've lost a CB every year, and replaced them with someone as good. Think he'll stay as long as Koeman does, for atleast another season. Clubs may be after Forster, however I can't see him going just yet. Liverpool would make the most sense.
