Will want megabucks...but if money wasn't an issue then I'd definitely take him. He'll probably go back to Everton or go somewhere like QPR if they stay up.

But you have no idea about how much these players are being paid? Or signing on fees etc. Berbatov for example is probably on over 100k plus a big signing on fee. And we were never going to compete to bring in players such as Vertonghen loris and Dembele!!!

To be fair though, if you were to make a decision on Gaston after 4 games, or whatever Coutinho has played, you'd have said he was class. He was superb in that villa game, scored Everton away looked decent when he came on at Arsenal, and was superb vs Newcastle. And Coutinho does have Sturridge playing alongside him whereas Gaston had Lambert in front of him. As much as I love Rickie, he's not going to make te most of Gaston's intelligence.

Agree. I think it's called making stats fit your agenda. 5/6m is really not a lot of money in the premiership. Yes there are players who stand out as cheaper and done better, but there are also plenty who are expensive and poor. Yes for 12m you'd probably say that he's not been value for money yet, but don't understand people writing the lad off yet. Clearly got talent but has had a tough first season with injuries/family problems, i'm confident he'll come good and definitely don't think we should sell him at a loss.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Isgrove on the bench. We now have Lallana and Gaston back to fitness, J-Rod improving and worthy of his place in the XI, Puncheon should be starting at the moment, Mayuka not even getting on the bench for whatever reason. In CM we have Cork, Morgan, Davis, JWP. MP has clearly been given the challenge to bring the youth through IMO hence us getting rid of fringe players getting in their way (IMO)

Fair point. If he could learn to score from 30 yards he'd be world class IMO.

Morgan has already won player of the season for me. So important to us.

Genuinely don't think he'd look out of place in any team in any league in the world.

My personal opinion. Think Morgan is our best player. Complete midfielder now he's added goals to his game.
