  1. He's been visiting his 'family'
  2. A Shrewsbury fan goes to a football match. 0-0 in the 91st minute, he is very excited, he thinks his team have won the world cup going by his behaviour. Blankety Blank
  3. Colin, I hope this is helpful? They all sound pretty ****, then again, it could be worse, you could be a Gills fan today. Bet that hurt.
  4. he was getting his watch fixed. les mis was with him and nic told him to 'put 2 hands on this baby les'.
  5. I think we are really lucky to have hit the ground running under Nigel. However, re appointments and reaons for getting shot of managers, I think that Pard's is right up there with the wrongest decisions ever. Having Nige at the helm will hide that fact. LKat season I lost count of how many people told me to my face that they would be happy for saints to simply avoid relegation. Anyone with the view that they expected any more than than was in the minority. Alan Pardew did an excellent job, stuff the league being a priority, we needed life breathed back into this club and the players too, they were as down as the rest of us. Alan delivered the jam in the doughnut and was then ready to win us promotion this season, there was no doubt in my mind of that. We have landed on our feet and maybe that is down to good provident head hunting, but let us NEVER forget that we would have been fine under Pards too. Nicola took one hell of a gamble and it was a needless one. Love Nigel, love Pardew. NC worries me a wee bit sometimes. God I hope he knows what he is doing and doesn't listen too closely to the one known throught the game as 'Les Miserable'
  6. They are driven by the worst drivers, everyone knows that. Hardly narrows down our quest to narrow the search. Wish leftie was Nineteen, I really genuinely miss him. Hope he's okay.
  7. You had to be there trousers.
  8. Pity SR(S) can't comment on this. Maybe he's still engrossed in Ashley and Cheryl Col(e)gate.

  12. Don't ever move to Scotland, Scottish football everywhere and a crap country, only good for the gas imho.
  13. Pennsylvaina is named after Admial Penn who set sail from Deal Beach to found it. Second most famous person to have lived in Deal, but he wasn't born there which would have made him an even better man imho.
  14. To help Colinjb I thought it might help him decide, if we try to sell each option to him. What are the plus points of staying in Coventry?
  15. To help Colinjb I thought it might help him decide, if we try to sell each option to him. What are the plus points of moving to Hereford?

  17. LOL B, thought you knew better. ;-) The 'cap in hand' days are well behind us thankfully. Although I do love this sector of charities, respite for carers is so valuable. In fact 'respite' is so important in so many people's lives should be at the forefront of people's thoughts when considering the planned utbacks. Can anyone who went today truly imagine what it would be like living without the simple pleasures like that in their lives, well it's simple and it's not really that expensve for society to pay for to maintain. Tell your MP.
  18. Well chuffed for I'd love t o get The Whites in R2, I'd really love it. John Nutter has been there for ages, a decent player. They filled the away end too, so fair play to everyone back home.

  21. Thanks thus far fellas, in particular the link from Special K, only just finished trawling it. Some great stuff on there, in particular (for me at least) was the discussing with nearset and derest advice. I'm having a slight prob with my projested outgoings in that as I plan to hire an accesible minibus as and whe, but will effectively be using it for businesss purposes, I can't seem to get any strainght answers from insurers. I was literally on the phone for an hour to a broker last night and ended up politely putting the phone down, it was that frustrating. Anyone have any advice on 'as and when' insurance please? I could of course just add a hire vehicle on a short term basis to my own private car policy but I'm guessing that would be asking for trouble should I be involved in and accident and it transpires hat my passengers have paid effectively for the 'service'. On a positive note, I have been putting the feelers out and getting really positive responses, definitely a gap in the market, albeit not big profit-wise, but enough to make me feel that I might just be able to make a go of it.
  22. WHAT... we're bigger than Brighton? When did this happen? ;-) Not sure why they would want to get knocked out quite so soon when they could draw a minnow and keep the dream of playing at their spiritual home, OT, alive a bit longer.
  23. Do they have a Mancs only policy? Long may they succeed, but I'd be interested to know why that bloke wants us in the next round, still bitter about his Grandad's tales of Bobby stokes offside goal perhaps?
  24. leftie, come on mate, pay the fiver, you know that you want to.
