one of the ex-dj's, Mike Dundas, now does a very amusing pubquiz round Soton. I saw him a little while ago down the Hope and Anchor in Foundry Lane, I think he does Tuesday nights.

PS Wrong time of the month to take your test too gaz, they make their numbers up towards the end. Yo'll, be fine in December though, they want the numbers early so they can knock off early for the christmas/new year break (this is fact).

Treat everyone like an idiot and expect them to drive as such. Good luck next time gaz, passing your test is truly life-changing event, your life will never be the same again.

So, looking at that bunch we can sort of understand why Rupert Lowe put so much faith in the youth experiment. Maybe in time it would have paid dividends? Mybe if we'd had the luxury of time added to Prost's ability to develop at that level we might have kept the conveyor belt running?

Heard tonight from a mate who was there that he was arrested. There was a little scuffle with the steward who sat on him and in the melee a police officer had a bottle of toilet cleaner thrown over him, so perhaps not so funny after all. He was charged with a bleach of the police.

No, I'll be sat with those lovely Lions.

I was merely alluding to the idea that I enjoy his penalty taking technique a little more than I perhaps I should. and you can stop all this millwall ****, I'm not the one who is named after a famour Narwich chairwomen's chant. Although tbf I was telling my mate tonight about it and he was quite shocked, I may have to rethink my plnas, especially as he has now offered to drive my drink sodden body to charlton and back. What would my chances be of getting home alive should I open my denim jacket to reveal my red and white stripes do you think?

Where does The North start then in people's opinions, I reckon it's Crewe? I can't begin to imagine what it must be like to be a northerner, but they do come across as a generally glum race. Then again they do seem to see us as a bit stuck up, even our lower classes are seen as posh and superior in our own minds.

/\ cheers for that, looking forward to yuletide; only 7 weeks from today.

I'm going to the Millwall Pompey match on Boxing Day, it's a chrissie pressie from a relation who's stopping with us. They have promised me a nice time and safe travel to and from the ****hole, I'm not sure they've been before tbh. If they insist on wearing their shirts I may well accidentallly lose them and find my own way home. I really do not want to appear on the back pages of The News.

My Mum's a Yorkshire Lass ergo I find all the above posts offensive.

The prog is on iPlayer for anyone interested: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00vhw4p/A_Life_Without_Work_Episode_1/ No question that we are all better off beyond our forefather's wildest dreams but it's the gap and 'blame' for the currect climate that is just as unpalatable as it always has been. I like the Cadbury/Bourneville story myself, it was an experiment or perhaps a rich man's plaything that appeared to work but again only comparatively. We will always need leaders but what seperates the good from the bad is their motivation I would say.

Are these Isles not the Pagan's country anyway? mrs h has been educating me recently on the religious festival confusions thatwe celebrate and last night informed me that Hallowe'en was originally known as samhain (sp) (end of summer or something like that). The carving of pumpkins was borne of the ritual of carving turnips symbolising the scaring off of evil spirits. I may read a bit about it unless someone more clever than I can enlighten me on here, concisely please?

Glad it's not just me that does this tbh.
