Feeling a little guilty for whooping and hollering at news of their demise yesterday. There is so much that we do not and may not ever know about humans and their optimum capabilities. I believe though that what is as we have developed in recent times so have those communities considered less intelligent ie tribal. If for example a newborn baby was taken from a tribal community and nurtured from birth with the best opportunities available in the 'developed' world, I reckon there is a high possibility that they will succeed as 'one of us'. The same would apply in reverse. My point is, that if humans have evolved this higher intelligence through learning and teaching, then does it not follow that that capacity has always been there. After all, left to their own devices a remote tribe may be centuries away from developing the iPad and that is only due to their lack of need and desire. It is what drives us that interests me. I know, I am rubbish at writing my thoughts down....I'll shut up now.
