Why can't I 'listen live' to Solent sport online? -
2 x toots on horn to get their attention followed by mouthing 'Red Army' whilst punching the air with free hand is the best approach. Why you no have a Saints window sticker your self anyway? Is you got protected NCD?

Just spoke to GS2 to tell him I got the tickets and he is so excited. At the time he was also chatting to GS1 via Xbox chat. GS1 reckons that he aint going to no stupid wedding. They don't see each other often and with the added advantage of us having somewhere to crash (house-sitting) it would be a good solution on other levels. I am not looking after their stupid dogs though, no way jose.

Waiting for confirmation but due to 1 x Grandson being dragged to some stupid wedding I will have a spare childs ticket. No promises just yet. The seat would be with myself plus grandson number 2 and his friend. Best option would be for someone already in the Itchen who can accompany said child to seat and be there for him when we all (hopefully) head pitchwards at the final whistle. I can accept no resposibility whatsoever for anyone else's childs safety, sorry. Face value £15. PS Said child must not be sensitive to foul and abusive language.

Further, if he had an amnesic episode, maybe he would do well to just accept the evidence of independent witnesses and fess up. Again, I am not suggesting his guilt, I am going over this **** in my head.
-
Thanks for that my friend. So drunk or otherwise, his amnesia will have no bearing on, not only whether he actually did assault the chap, the severity of any punishment should he be found guilty? If someone can hurt someone in such a viscious manner and genuinely not remember doing it then one must ask if they are a danger to themselves and others if left unsupervised. A dodgy defence I'd have thought once that penny drops with the prosecution and more importantly the jurors. Am I right here stu?

Spirits, that's where all the answers lie.

I have often lay awake at night with those exact same thoughts. Nothing clever about what he says, just that he has a load of sycophants sat around him. He is an entertainer scientist. All that '1% cleverer than chimps' and the only difference (his example) is the hubble telescope and Steven Hawkin being our earth ambassador is quite frankly silly. The point I would make to him is that it is OUR UNDERSTANDING that there is only 1% difference, he bases the sum on the DNA ffs, we've only just discovered DNA so it's hardly a good nay reliable yardstick is it? Or maybe that was his point and I'm just being thick...

When I lived in Bassett Green Road (airport end) I was apparently living in Romsey! When I took the decision to never vote again I reckon it was welcomed by my neighbouring voters who actually live IN ****ING ROMSEY.... Down here political fights are played out on the letters page of The Mercury, very entertaining and at times amusing. I went to the town council meeting last week and they were all there but very very nice to each other apart from Mt Mayor, a sullen moody looking gert big Brian Blessed lookalike; he looked like someone had just pinched his winkle fork.

9) Lee Barnard is innocent
-
(Go for the) BROWN

Actually, is it not common for people who are found guilty by a jury of killing someone whilst driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs to be treated with leniency as the crime automatically becomes that of manslaugher? Yes I am showing my ignorance here but how else am I supposed to become 'learned'. Cheers
-
Anyway, I thought that the forum had already assertained his innocence! Seriously though, they say that eye witnesses have described 'seeing him launch the violent assault' to the jury. What's the norm here, discredit those witnesses or counter with defence witnesses accounts? Lee says that he has no recollection of the incident, so not saying that it was self defence or provoked but saying that he has no idea how either of them got injured. I'm certainly not implying that I know better than anyine else, I obviously do not. I am however thinking that amnesia (genuine or otherwise) is surley not a good starting point as a defence of anyone's actions, this applies to everyday amnesic episodes, it may explain someone's actions or inactions but does not necesarily justify nor advocate tolerance of such.

It's not his wife, it's 'a blonde woman' according to that article.

Anyone been to the Battle of Britain thing over the white cliffs just past Folkestone on the old road to Dover, Capel Le Ferne. Here's a link to their events page: http://www.battleofbritainmemorial.org/events/live-spitfire-appearances-at-capel-le-fern/ Apart from the obvious there are aweinspiring views over the Channel and the English coatline. A spitfire and a Hurricane plus a statue of 'the waiting pilot' and a wall of rememberance. It is very well kept and they are raising funds for a permanent exhibition building. They organise tours of all sorts of associated places including helicopter rides where you get to fly alongside a Spitfire and hover over the memorial site. Anyone fancy treating as a late birthday treat please PM me?

Whoooshh Mr Colinjb. I was thinking more along bthe lines of doanting any surplus Saints merchandise to the villages that they are visiting. I'm sure 'appy will be using this mission as a scouting operation too.

PaddyPower are offering a very generous 4/1 on Saints to win the championship outright, we have a lot going for us imo and this is where I shall be placing a bet.

Well, if you think that that scenario might actually become a reality, then I would recomend that you get a few bob on it first thing in the morning. See below... We could loan them Tommy Forecast. A clean sheet is always a good start tactically.
