  1. playing for nothing too. An excellent gesture of someone giving something back to the game that he has already served well. Good on you Steve. Did I hear correctly that Weymouth could go into administration THIS WEEK if they can't muster enough financial support? There saving grace could be that they actually own their ground (not the land).
  2. /\ Papa waigo knew instinctively where to go for the warmest welcome didn't he. He didn't hardly acknowledge the rest of us.
  3. I know that any and every goal is important, but for lifting the team when they need it, for a player it must be more enjoyable to score in the second half when the goal will be more important to the outcome of the game. Surely scoring a late winner you would prefer to celebrate in front of a full stand (The Northam) rather than a half (I'm being generous there) full Chapel or Chapel/Itchen/Slumberland corner. Incidentally, even when the performance is pretty dire, The Northam is usualy the last one for fans to leave earl;y, many in the other stands want to avoid the crowds. This is not a criticism of any group of supporters, merely observations and opinion so please don't jump on me for it. There's only one way to sort this one out imo...... A Poll, let's have a poll; which end should we kick towards in the !st half?
  4. i shouldn't have, but I did chuckle a bit.
  5. Just like you Sambosa, I too have never won a game in my life. No names, but a few years ago we hade a relative stay witt us, he has a learning disability. Like a right plum I was gleefully rubbed my hands when he challenged me to a game. Yes, I thiught, this is my chance to break my duck. WRONG. When he started to laugh every time I even touched one of my pieces I got a little pee'd off and did consider flipping the board over, but settled for 'letting him win'. Unless we ever meet, I fear that I am destined to die a chess loser. It can't be that hard, surely!!!
  6. Well done Townhillsaint, Insurance is a b8stard when you are young, but a blessing when you are old. It used to pee me off 20 years ago seeing old fogies driving sensibly in cars that could break the sound barrier, when I had to poodle around in a Renault 14TL. What a waste I use dto think. You would curse if you knew the soert of thing ou can drive at 45, £1300 fully comp. Unfortunately (fortunately for us old gits) the insurance companies base their figures on facts, it's just like gambling to them, and just like you'll never see a poor bookie, you'll never see a poor Lloyds lister. Well done enjoy your driving.

  8. /\ Without Google, I will take a shot in the dark at "all i want to eat is scambled eggs" ??
  9. Chris, is this an open invitation? If so, which tipster are you on there?
  10. Michael jackson is dead? Bloody hell, they kept that quiet!!!!
  11. Is that your question Rory? I have not been reading the BBC site, no. Can't think why it would be on there right now either, although it is always the anniversary of something Beatle'y isn't it. I know this one from ages ago. Well done, what's your Q?
  12. Just to while a way a few minutes while the spuds are roasting. Answer the question but ONLY if you can replace it with a new one. And try not to use the internet as this is a test of our collective nounce not a speed typing test. Simple I hope. What song had the working title of 'scrambled eggs'? Remember NO SEARCHING, you will only be cheating yourself.
  13. Really, I thought they hade everything popular, my mistake. No Floyd either!! Is it a bit of an 'iffy' resource then?
  14. We could play saint v if enough non believers turn up. Although I appreciate that some people like to wear day-glo yellow/green.
  15. I can partly answer the original question j9. I don't know why they have not sent another MAN to the moon, but the reason a woman has never set foot there is because it does not need tidying up yet. HTH
  16. Unless I am very much mistaken, Spotify's library has changed. I wanted to listen to a decent version of Stairway to Heaven and it is jam packed full of tribute versions. And some not very good ones either. I could not find the Led Zep IV version, which is my favourite. Looked for Comfortably Numb and Pigs too, to no avail. Is it me?
  17. I am hopefully bringing my little boy with me this afternoon. He has not kicked a ball in anger since he got married five yeras ago, sound familiar? Please don't expect too much of him. In fact I would very much appreciate it if you let me score and bust your balls to stop him from scoring (it won't be hard). There are some serious bragging rights at stake here. btw he will hopefully be wearing his (massive) Gillingham top.
  18. Blimey a bit of a faux pas by the FL if you ask me. The Millwall Gills rivalry runs deep, and after their hoolies got a pasting the other week from WHU I wouldn't be surprised if they want to puff their chests out a bit, plus some will see US as having a bit of history too.
  19. dd out of interest, do you feel that Rudi was ALL hype or a victim of poor man management and tactics? Even MLT suffered for periods under the wrong managers.
  20. Would have made a difference yesterday in my opinion. More versatile than some give him credit for, unfortunately his head had dropped a long while back and I was hoping AP would be the man to get him back to his best, playing in his best position not simply filling the gap at left back. Never mind, good luck to him (he gave a mate of mine his 15 minutes fame with THAT song) and thanks for all the fish. Interesting I feel that we have a new hero who hasn't actuall signed yet in Papa Waigo, I hope we treat him a darned sight better than we did Rudi, even if he doesn't live up to the hype.
  21. It would be interesting to hear how we found him, especially as AP publicly commented the other week on our lack of scouting and knowledge base. He also mentioned that he has kept his finger on the pulse whilst out of work, so he is fully aware of every incoming players abilities and where they fit into the big plan. Really do think that us (the fans) are often guilty of overhyping players and coaches, but that's just human nature. Still, he has a good name and it will have already sold a few shirts which go towards his plane fare (hope he flew FlyBe), and it was a nice change from the usual dross pre-match entertainment to watch a fully grown man do a funny dance for no other reason than to make us supporters smile.
  22. I know we were bad yesterday but all the same I am flattered, but seriously Mikey I am not match fit right now. Ask me again in a couple of weeks.
  23. /\ Thanks fellas, He has quite a few free security progs but I suspect too many to update and run effectively. I'll recommend the Malawarebytes dl, and get back to you, in the meantime if anyone recognises the source I'd appreciate it as I can let him know where and how he probably got it. 24. Cheers anyway, good luck with the rest.
  25. Hi, I received an e-mail from my Dad the other day, I opened it as it clearly was from his account. It didn't sound as though he had written it and after checking with him, he has confirmed that he did not send it PLUS other people have contacted him with the same story. He's run some anti-virus scans but nothing showed up, he's now worried it will happen again. btw it was sent a time when his laptop was on but he was not using it. Any help with how it is happening and how to remove it from his system greatly appreciated please?
