  1. No Mewsta. And I am sure I had one in there called webcam at one point, but it isn't there now. Cheers for this mate, I am determined to get this thing working.
  2. Oh no!!!! If you don't even know what 'Rule 1' means you won't last long on here. Be careful young DG (Dimond Geezer), don't go onto the moor.

    Stair Rods

/\ oi! to you lot taking the pee out of people with stair rods. They are lovely in a niceVictorian house, I have stair rods and will not have abad word said against them.
  4. Sorry peopleI am having a real headache with this now. I downloaded the Dell download manager and the driver. Installed it as per instructions and nought changed. I downloaded the DELL webcam Central program and on installation it tells me to install 'dell webcam central' first! In Device Manager there is no webcam showing. When I 'Add hardware' the only 'imaging device' that it offers is a Xerox scanner, which is not one that we own!! If i could put up a screenshot it may help but I don't even know how to do that. Sorry to be getting so frustrated but I expected the webcam to just work. I can always just plug in my old one (should ahve thought of this last night, I know), but the built in one was actually one reason i went for the 1545. I am off out in a mo to calm down. hamster

    The Grapes

Do they ever SHOUT at strangers on bridges? If so, brats they be.
  6. Will this be available to view anywhere on the net?
  7. Chris, in laymans terms, what could a person 'take' legally (by IAAF rules) that would enhance their performance? Say for instance, I was going to enter the London Marathon next year, what could I take to build up my stamina, strength, and lessen the aches and pains in my joints (and would it surprise most people to know) within the rules? i am only curious and I promise that i am NOT plaaning to run a marathon. Didn't know that about Lewis before, thanks for the insight and very interesting what you say about people's views being influenced by their emotive connections to said individual, very interesting indeed.
  8. tbf it's not even in Southampton is it. You can actually be in central London quicker from Eastleigh (MLT) Airport quicker than you can from Gatwick, Stanstead and even Heathrow (Paddington Xpress excluded) if you time it right and counter in the time saved in baggage reclaim, queing for customs and the shortest walk from terminal to platform anywhere in the World. eastleigh is the way forward imho after Manston that is.
  9. keep getting an error message, i will have to come back to this one I think, thanks so far though.
  10. Que? I found a forum that said to download 'DELL webcam manager', but am a bit wary, although the site does look like a dell one. What do you reckon? It's this site Baj: http://ftp.us.dell.com/app/R168730.EXE
  11. Trying to set up thee built in webcam on mrs h's ne laptop, but can't even find it! Looked in device manager under 'Imaging Devices' to no avail. I am not that clever with techie stuff but am good at following instructions. please help as I want to get it working tonight for a video call to the Grandkids in Kent. The laptop is a Dell Inspiron as seen here: http://www.accomputerwarehouse.com/product-info/Dell-Inspiron-1545-T3400-3GB-RAM-250-GB-HDD-Vista-Home-premium thanks in advance you lovely people.
  12. In Vegas a few years ago I wore a Saints shirt out. Aa local lad ran out of a cyber cafe (where he worked) and stopped me to talk about Saints. Mrs h just rolled her eyes, but it was about a week before Peter Crouch was making his debut for England in the states and we both 'needed' to talk about it. It was one of the highlights of the holiday (almost). He was very nice and no-one called us names.
  13. Excellent idea Griffo, i am all for including our hard of hearing fans. can;t wait to see the song sung at SMS now.
  14. I thought we had an agreement that we would only talk Kent football when we both win. I don't know, I may have to consider ending the 'Margate is our nursery club' contract now!!
  15. I knew a girl they used to call 'Kit-Kat' Don't know why though, as you only get four fngers in a Kit-Kat!!
  16. /\ Dog that first one must be faked as the car would have been sent spinning hitting something that size. Also, I reckon even 'glimpsing' it, the driver would have had to stop to take it in. just my opinion
  17. What i was trying to say chris, is that there are drugs out there that enhance 'performance' they are not the sort of substance found in your everyday diet, so why are they allowed? Is it a bit like the government allowing people to smoke and taking the tax money, and them 'banning' (for arguments sake) cannabis?
  18. I do not own a motorbike jw, I used to, but I don't anymore. I also have no interest in running fast myself, I sometimes enjoy watching otters run though. hth
  19. Manston should be developed imho. Makes so much sense re catchment area, safety issues and the need for employment in the area. It would also shave quite a few cumulative minutes off of european journeys.
  20. Por old Gunn has just lost his job and people on here are making him the butt of their jokes, what triggered this response?
  21. hamster

    Gundog

..as in Dell Boy? Did my 'trigger' suggestion lead (lol) you to make that choice Dog?
  22. I have not seen this before but with over half million views maybe this is old news. As they attempt to land (42 secs).....poor cow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGYCnowBC2g&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.satellites.co.uk%2Fsatellite%2Fmeeting-place%2F141150-pilot-hits-cow-emergency-landing.html&feature=player_embedded#t=58
  23. I am no fan of cheating but who decides on what is legal and illegal in sport and what do they base their decisions on?
  24. I am not 3 fyi, and when I was at school they learnt me that Noah preceded the Amertican Ciivil War by quite a few years, so it's the Noah song all the way unless you want to argue with God Pancake. Do you want to argue with God Pancake? Do you?
  25. The St Ives Music Festival runs from Sept 12th to Sept 26th. Just thought I should share this little titbit with you folki. Not sure whether I posted it previously, so apologies if I did. There was a mix up with the planning of this year's event and if you fancy going down for the second week you can save a quid due to the confusion. Originally the event was to be held over the first two weeks of September, hence holiday letting agents set the tariffs accordingly. When the dates were changed it was too late for them to alter their brochures so the prices remained unchanged. Book for the second week and you will be renting for the usual 'off-peak' rate yet enjoy one of the busiest and most colourful weeks events in the south east. Info here: http://www.stivesseptemberfestival.co.uk/ Good letting agent here: http://www.stivesholidays.com/index.htm Note: Unfortunately the Ukelele Band of the UK has now Sold Out.
