  1. Surprised it's not on here already, unlass I am being dense. This is so bad, and although Neil Warnock concedes that it will be seen as 'funny' because it's 'Neil Warnock', imo the powers that be should redress the situation. And to make matters worse, it was a fantastic goal to boot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L97-WnPglbQ Thoughts?
  2. Edgar Davids has let himselg go a bit (1:00 in)
  3. People change dd, I was not always such a nice boy myself.
  4. Sorry to be pedantic, but it is donkeys 'ears' not donkeys 'years'. I've stood in the middle of the stones at Stonehenhe (on my own), been down the Nile, stood on the edge of the Grand canyon, been to the top of the Empire State and a few other places that make you wonder at the wonder of it all. My favourite places (not outside UK though) and ones that I never tire of though is Deal in Kent and St Ives in Cornall.
  5. SL, clearly many on here empathise with your situation, and the majority seem to recomend ending it but you can't make this decision based on the facts as we are. I have a question for you to ponder and (imho) you need to tell her the answer to her face and wait for her response. Only then can you realistically make another move. If you carry on as you are, there WILL be tears, but there will always be tears in life so not necessarily a bad thing is it. Question - DO YOU LOVE HER? hamster PS I hope you are using condoms
  6. Spades, there are a couple who've been there and still haven't managed to kick the ball either!! I am decorating all day, and then away for a week, so you boys play nicely while I am away.
  7. like it, did have to read it twice before i got it though. not unlike john boys failed attempt. xx's
  8. ???
  9. That carol Poborsky was not bad for a bird either. SheCDAJFU
  10. My Grandfather was a very succesful pigeon fancier in his day, and was from South Emshal (not far from t'udderfield). Mum has a box full of his certificates and rossettes from his prized birds. Us Southerners may joke, but pigeons, ferrets and whippets are still very popular pastimes in those parts. Incidentally, any 'Last of The Summer Wine' fans could use this weekend as an opportunity to visit the village where much of the series was filmed in Holmfirth.
  11. What was our best ever start to a season?
  12. Jethro, don't be silly. MB asked this at 12:48, and had only 8 minutes to go. You posted at 1:09!!! I know you probably meant well, but way too blimmin' late mate.
  13. Absolutely agree, how many 'FlyBe' threads have there been over the years? Without the Liebherr family business, we may not have a forum to talk about this crap, let alone a football club to support.
  14. I heard that one of the Paulsgrove ones was abducted by a podiatrist. There is a vigilante group out looking for him as we speak.
  15. ff for that (sore loser): http://www.slbenfica.pt/Informacao/Futebol/Noticias/CompraRedPass.asp?Adepto=%20nickh
  16. According to a survey that i read in the Sun today around 95% of men play with themselves before going to sleep at night, and the other 5% read. Do you know what they read?
  17. I like the one of the pig on the back of the motorbike. ;-)
  18. /\ :smt006 Hiya, so pleased (on many levels) that the Simeon Jackson rumour was unfounded, we don't need his style of player anyway imho, we want to build a 'team', whereas from what I saw last season The Gills did not perform when SJ had an off day. A great prospect but maybe within a team who want to put all of their eggs in one basket.
  19. Just fyi, the so called 'torres' song was originally either 'The Runaway train' or 'The Animals Came In 2 by 2'. The latter being based on the biblical story of Noah's Ark. don't thank me, I am here to educate, it's my job.
  20. Or one of our greatest EVER Alan Ball...
  21. The old 'two by two' song is so versatile, we could even have a verse for each player if people were serious enough about updating the songs. Never though should we lose our enthusiasm for OWTSGMI, slow or fast it's ours to last. It wasn't so long ago either, that Saints fans were acknowledged by York University as the 'most in-tune' singers in the premier league: http://www.york.ac.uk/admin/presspr/pressreleases/perfectpitch.htm .... When Kelvin's in between the sticks Hurrah, hurrah And Richie starts to take the p**s Hurraah, hurrah When Murty plays it down the line You know the boys are doing fine And we all stand up cos 'The Sainst Are Marching In' Knock.... Knock..... Who's there? etc etc...... or Stand up if you love The Saints Stand up.... I quite like the idea that we have a song that always leads into OWTSGMI though.
  22. thinking out loud..... He wears the Red and White with pride Rickie, Rickie, There ain't no place for you to hide Rickie, Rickie, He gets the ball, he takes the ****, He wears the shirt of Matt Le Tiss, And the Saints Go Marching when Lambert scores a goal then Knock, Knock Who's there? .........
  23. Some amusing comments below the article too. I reckon the way forward here pancake is to install speed cameras in their eyes with little LED's, a brilliant safety feature and more importantly a good fundraiser for the taxpayer. I wonder if anyone will ring social services to report kids playing out late at night too. ;-)
  24. We still could. I reckon quite a few missed the boat before as it closed just before pay day. Steve, would you consider contacting the club again to see how much would be needed to add him to our portfolio?
