  1. Nabil Hassan ‏@NabilHassan79 BREAKING: Administrators of #pompey officially "nominate PST as preferred bidders" for the club. My @BBCSport story to follow online... This is going to be hysterical
  2. Not sure what has happened this season, but originally yeah money was debeted and then returned
  3. So if talks are still ongoing with Portpin, then they haven't been rejected - At a guess they have to agree to some additional conditions. If the PFA have been called back in, would that suggest that one of the bids is a bit short on the football creditors bit? There's a way to go in this yet and a few more quid for Trev
  4. I also think there is some relevance in the Chanrai swapping 10 million of debt for equity. Regardless of the fact he is being forced to do this by the FA. From Trev's perspective that is 10 million wiped of the debt, that wouldn't happen if the trust took over, so when it goes back to "Best deal for the creditors"......
  5. I was speaking to someone who works in the insolvency law and if I understood him right, it's not just down to what the ground is valued at, it is what represents the best return for Chanrai. If he (Chanrai) could demonstrate he would get a better return, by doing somethinge else with the land or even renting it back to the pst, then he would be expected to win. The way I look at it, is the pst will be asking a court of law to force a sale against the owners wishes at a fration of the charge, to give it to a property developer so they can make money on it - That doesn't make any sense and lets not forget, if Chanrai did lose the court case, then he simply has to offere a bit more than the pst to retain control of the ground. But then unlike the good doctor the news wheeled out, I don't have a degree in tourism, so am probably wrong.
  6. http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/portsmouth/fb_news.php?storyid=18396&title=hall_right_now:_portpin_will_take_over_pompey_-_andronikou#.UH1R8I-hLR4.twitter Andriod claims its all over bar the shouting .... Just PKF hoding things up over their millions
  7. I'm not sure I see it that way. If the FL had officially turned down Chanrai, they would have made an announcement by now. I am sure that they weren't able to pass him at the last meeting as certain conditions hadn't been met. I'm guessing now it is actually in Chanrais court, but as good as micha halls articles have been, what really are the exposures, that would prevent meeting the FAPPT? There's fud, hear say and allegations, but Chanrai can answer all of those. If they don't pass Chanrai, a third party will pop up from somewhere. They wont be liquidated.
  8. Indeed, although I suspect there are some at the FL that would love to fail anybody in the FAPPT, just to prove they have some teeth. I suspect that a third party will appear and provide an alternative.... But even then they will need to find the money for Chinny.
  9. Or as the major creditor..... Which could be argued was entirely appropriate actions. As previously mentioned it will come down to interpretation. If the FL don't think the pst can complete (And pay the football creditors) they will find a way of passing Chinny
  10. It would be pointlesss anyway - 1/3 would love it, 1/3 would hate it and a 1/3 wouldn't give a monkeys
  11. As intresting as it is, this latest article lacks the punch, the first couple had. If anything it shows the lengths that Chanrai went to, to prevent the club going into admin for a second time. As for the league rules, it comes down to a case of interpritation. Could go either way. If the League said point blank that they would refuse Chinny, then thats one thing, if they said not until this criteria is met, then that is something completely different. Eitehr way it will be a blood bath.
  12. The thread needs a boost.... something chunky this week? The blue few are claiming Sacha's land will be sold this week, with 4 bidders of which porpin aren't one..... Would be a shame if porpin bought it under a different name, Of course the pst will be bidding.... well I say the pst, but I assume this will be there property developer friend. But as usual the potential for a twist is there. Imagine if there was some sort of bidding war going on for Sacha's land and it pushes the price up? Someone buys it for a million.... If that land is 10% of the area that Chanrai owns, would it be fair to say that Chanrai's land is worth ten million? Wouldn't fancy going to court to take on Chinny to buy the ground for 2.7 million if that is the case.
  13. Oh Please - Shut up people
  14. And that was just for those of us following it on twitter :) ............ Massive congratulations to you both
  15. LOL Mackers - Get your cheque book out son - 900 pound payable to pst trust...... Keep old trev going for an hour or so
  16. Nabil Hassan ‏@NabilHassan79 #bbcfootball RT @alex_crook - Reports from Lancashire suggest Michael Appleton has held 'relaxed talks' with Bolton #bwfc #pompey
  17. Apologies if this has been covered (Mods delete if it has) I was reading about England changing over from Umbro (Basically as Nike have taken them over) and in the article is says that the Umbro will only make kits next year for Forest, Huddersfield and Blcakburn. Assuming that isn't just crap reporting, will we get a new kit or will it simply be a case of swapping the Umbro badge with the Nike "tick" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2216096/Umbro--end-era-England-kits.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
  18. There has to be a third genuine bidder.... that is what PKF and the FL are waiting for
  19. Oh dear Gabor - That's doesn't appear to be in keeping with your managers take on things - Probably best to keep schtumm in future.
  20. I am happy to repeat the central allegation. That a group of Arkadi Gaydamak's creditors - Balram Chainrai, Levi Kushnir, Yoram Yossifoff, Ron Mana and came to Portsmouth Football Club intending to undertake short-term asset stripping as a form of debt recovery. They brought their debt-collector, the convicted forger Daniel Azougy, with them. They found a Saudi Arabian hermit, Ali Al Faraj, to front the bid to hide their own presence. He was never seen or heard in Portsmouth, and hasn’t been seen or heard of since. Instead, a convicted fraudster and forger was running the finances of the club alongside their own solicitor who had overall control. And I think this is the main issue. It (Both parts) is an incredibly well researched and dcoumented account of his interpritation of what has happened and he is probably right on somethings, but his central allegation, seems to be that portpin bought the club to asset strip as some form of debt recovery. Which unless I have missed something, isn't illegal - Granted you wouldn't want owners like that at any club, but I am missing how that would utimately cause any issues with the FAPPT. Where it does have teeth, is the inclusion of Azougy, but the club have already been addressed for that and he was subsequently kicked out of a meeting and furthermore, the article seems to be saying Azougy was part of falcondrone, not Portpin, with the two companies ultimately falling out. If Chanrai could explain away the initial coming together, then it leaves Falcondrone with the dirty hands and not Portpin (We don't necessarily have to believe that, it is whether there is a credible explanation from Chanrai, that the FL can live with). The same applys for Al Mirage. But this guy is obviously on the case and the ball, so perhaps I have misread or misunderstood, his main gripes, but regardless, few could argue, that if you were trying to save your football club, you would want this guy on your side...... If he is successful, I just hope the trust live upto his expectations, because it still looks to me that they havent got a pot to **** in and very few of them understand what a pompey, living within their means, not owning a ground or training facility and having to service a CVA and players compromise agreements, actually looks like.
  21. Don't be so hasty Rallyboy - I am sure he will be prepared to put a call into himself and explain the situation and agree a compromise. Afterall everyone at the club has to wake up and realise it will be better to get something, rather than nothing at all.................isn't that right appy?
  22. I don't think so (Could well be wrong) Everyday is another 9k to Birch - He might quite like that, but Chinny and the PST won't. They have submitted their preference, Porppin have met with the FL, I think it will be a case of "No fook off" or welcome back. We might not get to hear the result, but I think there will be some movement
  23. Well according to the few... The FL meeting is tomorrow and pompey is on the agenda. Will they stop Chanrai or will it be the green light for Big Daddy to ride back into town.... Should be an intresting day, although I fear for frattonisers health and message board..... Not sure I will enough self control to stop myself posting on it.
  24. Trev old son, just need to tweek the bid abit. We need take more six cup games and trip to wembley out of our cash forecast. Don't worry though, just take it off the compromise agreements
