Whilst there is parachute money, there will always be interest. My best guess is; The new CVA will pay 2p in the pound, which when added to the secured creditors and football creditors, amounts to 29 million (20 million secured, 7 milllion football creditors and 2 milllion for the ones that deserve it most) with 16 million left in parachute payments. If chinny takes over now, he gets to to sell the squad in the summer and get his shout at the parachute money. He wont get his 17 mill back, but he will get 10.

I think there is a lot of truth in that Adrian. I never liked lowe and refused to go when he came back the second time, but the sands of time have eased my dislike for him and the reality that he actually ran the club in a fiscally prudent way is more obvious now, then it was back then. I actually met him a few months ago and had a good 20 minute chat with him. He's is not whiter than white and has his faults, but ultimately it was the way he ran and developed the club, that made it attractive for Markus and hence where we are today. Regardless of anyones thoughts on him, he is part of SFC history.

The blue few are reporting that birch has to go back to court to update them (IS this right???) on the administration on the 9th March and that they are expecting him to request formal liquidation on that day. Apologies for quoting myself. Can chinny do anything about it (Other than buy the club), if Birch decides to liquidate? I've had a rethink. He buys the club for a pound, the day before the club is liquidated. He has 14 million left of the parachute payments and new CVA debts will be relatively small but gaydamk will have got his 2 million. Assuming this happens in April, he then has to fund the club through to june which will cost him around 5 million and then he can start selling players and collecting season ticket money. Due to wages he wont raise that much, but can build a squad on freebies with low wages. He will then own a league one club that owes him 20 million quid, which he could try and sell for 5 to 10 million and walk away. Feasible??

Only in an csi capacity. He has trousered the other 20% that Birch is after and citing the fact he has had towait two years................ Perhaps he should have thought about that and the other creditors when he put the last CVA together.

FORMER Pompey administrator Andrew Andronikou has defended his firm after it was claimed by Trevor Birch it owes the club £300,000. Mr Andronikou, whose firm UHY Hacker Young acted as Pompey administrators in 2010, said it was owed £150,000 for its work during the previous administration through liquidators Baker Tilly. He said: ‘When we took the job on in February 2010 we got paid 80 per cent of it in 2011, but we have been waiting two years for another 20 per cent.’ Current administrator Mr Birch said he was not aware of an agreement in place to pay former owner Sacha Gaydamak £2.2m in Premier League parachute payments. Just think. They are fooked even with the remaining parchute money, imagine if had still been the normal 30 million instead (Increased in the year pompey were relegated) to 53 million. Anyway. How does chinny get his back; 1) Pumps more in save it and then try and sell it 2) Club is liquidated and gets fratoon park (Well most of it) android is claiming the club is sustainable, but to get to the point where it is will cost another 20 million quid and even then they will likely be a league one club, with a much lower resale value The ground does have a covenant so in the short term, he is screwed, unless he rents it back to afc pompey which I imagine will net him between 1/4 and 1/2 million pounds a year.
