  1. http://www.ir.lv/upload/simple_file/2011_01/76/krollreport_antonov.pdf This is for the real geeks amoungst us. I have to say, if I had paid tens of thousands of pounds, I would like a better reference than that!! When your client pays you to say nice things..... but you simply can't, it says alot. The irony of course, is that that the chairman of Kroll at the time, is now the administrator of bank snoras
  2. Dont go to bed, you have a pm. Need your help next week
  3. 45,000 posts, nearly 2.4 million views and 28 months later.... 6 owners Numerous court cases 120 million pounds worth of debt...... And we are back to square one, the CVA remains unserviced, the training ground is still in Southampton, fratton park is still owned by chinny and the latest saviour looks more of a Nick Leeson than a St. Nick. Hard to know what to say or how to paraphrase, so I will keep it simple....... Thank you :)
  4. There new owner....owns the bank (Or did :) )
  5. Bearsy, I am not sure you / we will hear from pfc123 or corp for a couple of weeks.
  6. I can't remember the home game, but there was quite a reaction on here when the old bill videoed the Northam and at an away game last season that I went to, it was way over the top and actually really wound me up. Well I've stolen this from the blue few, one of who made a formal compliant and thought some might be interested in the statement from Hampshire police. Now based on what the statement says, am I wrong in thinking that (Whatever that game was) when they were filming the whole Northam they were in breach of their own rules / law ? Statement from Hampshire police "The use of video / photography has been used for many years now at Football and indeed across a whole range of Public Order / Public safety events ie protests etc. The use of the camera has been a significantly successful tool in reducing the levels of football related disorder by deterring disorder or capturing evidence of disorder for any post event investigation. It has also been used to great effect in building up intelligence profiles about that small minority who are intent on generating or taking part in football related violence. That said, the use of video / stills must have a legitimate need and should not be used in such a way that is unnecessary, disproportionate or affects the enjoyment of the vast majority of peaceful fans who want to watch the football. In Hampshire, we have a clear deployment strategy that sets out when and how video / stills will be used. Essentially this is; 1) To deter disorder by targeted overt filming IE where individual’s or groups’ behaviour is such as to cause concern that this might generate disorder or compromise safety of other fans. The presence of an overt video is usually sufficient to stop even those affected by drink or intent on causing issues. 2) To capture evidence of disorder or behaviour that is beyond the norms of acceptability (for post event or for Sect 14 B orders) 3) To gather intelligence : again this must be targeted at individuals or groups who are legitimately assessed as providing a risk to disorder based on their behaviour / recent history etc There should be no overt blanket filming as it doesn't deliver anything of value. There is always full CCTV coverage in the stadium which can be used (though the quality varies greatly). Whilst we continue to use overt Video at Football it will only be done to achieve any of these 3 outcomes. It is right that we should periodically remind our operators of these restrictions although they are simple common sense. I hope that this may re-assure some of your supporters that it is about a targeted deterrent or evidence / intelligence gathering.
  7. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh how funny; Rallyboy, I'll pay your fiver, you might just need more than 3 posts a day :)
  8. I smell another revenue stream for Mr C. There must be a few places within the stadium that could host 20 plus squealing kids. Saints first team in the Prem with a matchday creche :)
  9. Yep, already seen that Adults are 26 and under..... bit different from overhere!! Thanks for your first post as well. I think they will have a great time and that trains are the way to do it. There's no trouble amoungst them, so hopefully will be safe.
  10. Brilliant - Thank you
  11. My lad and his mates are doing the Euro Champiosnhips next year and regardless where we get drawn, the flights are already expensive and will go up even more dependent on where England are playing. So they have all booked a cheap flight into Berlin and now looking to use the train to get to either Poland or Ukraine? It all looks possible from what I can see online and there seems to be a 22 day international unlimited pass for 250 pounds per person, which would be excellent. There are some search string results for European Student Rail Cards, but they don't actually seem to exist? Anyone travelled much through Europe by train? Any tips on cost savings or things to watch out for? Also I have suggested YMCA or other hostels, does anyone know if these places will let in travelling England fans? Cheers
  12. Feeling better? Not sure if you are confusing me with another poster, but rest assured, I, like most on here are unlikely to act on any advice you dish out. Keep talking to that doctor / shrink, verbal, things will get better, it may take time, but we are all behind you.
  13. I agree with the princilple of making them work for free, but not convinced that throwing them at the private sector is the right way. Time willl tell. If 20% go on to get paying jobs that they started doing fro free, then I guess it will be deeemed a success.
  14. Actually Turkish'es point was completely valid, they won't get a fair trail. It was just a shame that others pounced on him, before understanding that he actually thought they were guility as sin and assumed he was sticking up for them. Which for those of us that are big enough to accept it, is almost a foregone conclusion. They won't get a fair trail and maybe social justice dictates that, that is fair.... But the British Justice system doesn't. And for the posters that like to twist everything, I also think they are guilty as sin, but also recognise they won't get a fair trial.
  15. On your tv now. I think (Will wait to be corrected) it is identical.
  16. corps..... planning permission, already granted by the council is not correct. The last one to investigate the possibilities was our favorite Dr....................... The day after Dr Al Fahim spoke exclusively to The News about his multi-million pound takeover of Pompey, Mr Storrie said: 'They have seen the plans for the stadium and are quite pleased with those and the training ground so one can only assume those will go in – but let's not get carried away, the deal's not done until it's signed.' Pompey have put on hold plans for a 100m stadium at Horsea Island and are looking to rebuild Fratton Park in the wake of the credit crunch. The club has previously said that a planned Tesco store next to the ground was crucial as it would fund 70 per cent of the 22m rebuild. But it could prove tricky getting planning permission. Tricky ?? Well may be the first step would be for Tesco to actually commit and buy the land or at least put in a formal application. This hasnt been done yet. The Mail did an article to suggest that Tesco may be not be interested after any more.... But then a lot can happen in two years, right corpy http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/local/east-hampshire/fratton_park_is_set_to_hold_30_000_fans_1_1232842
  17. You didnt get an invite then ??
  18. Absolutely delighted for Totton, they have a great set up there and some really good people working for the club. The new ground is excellent, although i wonder if they regret, not making more provision for away fans, (Not just for this game, but if the club keep moving forward).
  19. I agree (what a strange feeling). The points deduction threat was from storrie only. The concesus seems to be that he is ok, whether he needed to turn QE for that remains to be see, but regardless of the outcome from arry and mandick, it wont effect pompey. Just the forensic accouning investigation, insolvency commission report and a 5 year CVA to go.... and your home and dry
  20. My biggest question mark for the whole process, is over the court case in August 2010. Given the figures presented, the lying over the debt ( From memory they detailed the debt at 28 million, which subsequently rose to 122 million (Easy mistake to make) ) and the quite obvious insolvent trading, how the judge came to the decision he did. Would it be too far fetched to think that pressure was applied by goverment, PL or FA officials to stop a premier league club being wound up and shut down? One thing that I stand by, is that had it been any other business than a football club, it would have been closed down about a year or so before.
  21. I don't think you will find any people on here who claim to be ITK and if you have actually read most of this thread, you will see that the vast majority, always maintained that they would survive and be ok. It is unlikely that anything significant will happen in the short term, but in March, they need to right a cheque for 4 million quid, plus whatever the next installment for chinny is and I would guess, that sometime early next year, wewill also see the reports from the insolvency commision and the also the HMRC sponsored forensic examination, plus of course the outcome of the court cases. Plenty of life in this old girl yet
  22. I've widdled out chad ......havent found the other one Oh and someone needs to tell .....actually no, i'll let it go
