I'd include Chaplow and Hammond as an attacking threat tbh.

That's a pretty impressive f*ck up. Does anyone actually check it before it goes to print?

The refusal to sell a season ticket at Southampton FC
Saint_clark replied to lenwilkins's topic in The Saints
It's not that simple though, is it? The club has been found in the wrong by an organisation who didn't have all the facts. -
Barney in court today, according to the Echo
Saint_clark replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
I wonder if he's just trying to drag it out to the end of the season. -
Was just greeted on the OS with the headline "Rickie glad to move on". Absolutely shat myself.

The dominoes pizzas were the best thing about last season.
-
Not really, it sounds alright. Just a bit more emphasis on the "ber" than normally.
-
Would you?

For N'Guessan? It fits perfectly Maxi Rodriguez - 5 syllables Dany N'Guessan - 5 syllables.

The refusal to sell a season ticket at Southampton FC
Saint_clark replied to lenwilkins's topic in The Saints
As I said earlier, i'll wait for a response from the club before I form any real opinion - i'm more just playing devils advocate here as I can see this turning into one of the ol' "Cortese is the devil" type threads. -
League Table since Adkins - indications for 2nd half of season?
Saint_clark replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
Pardew would have most likely got us promoted. Probably wouldn't have us in as good a position as we are now, but I reckon we'd be around the play-offs. -
I was thinking this, but there's no guarantee of a mod/admin being around for the "important breaking news". Matches and transfer deadline day however would obviously be an easy one to sort.

I thought they said the charter was nowhere to be found? How could they know if we were in breach of it or not? -

Regardless, the charter is there - and the "supporter services" page was always there, though I never checked before so the update on the 19th could well have been to add the link to the charter. What rules are we found to be in breach of then, exactly? -

Have you not seen this, linked from the official site then? The Supporters Charter, 10-11 season; http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/staticFiles/a/67/0,,10280~157450,00.pdf And the page I found it on...http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/SupporterServices/0,,10280,00.html The IFO must have had an absolute amateur working on this case if he couldn't even find that. -
The refusal to sell a season ticket at Southampton FC
Saint_clark replied to lenwilkins's topic in The Saints
The club have already said that the charter published was for last season, when it was explained that the season ticket instalment plans were withdrawn due to so many people not paying up in the past. So we can scrub round that right away. It's a very bizarre set of circumstances and it seems the club has to give an answer now either way. I'll wait and see what response they give before condemning anyone. -
Dunno who writes their match reports, the bits I picked out sounded very amateur and unprofessional. Where abouts am I looking for them blaming the ref?
-
I take it the "tear you apart again" one is Joy Division? But what tune for the Northam End arising..?

:lol: I have no idea why people dislike you Deppo. You're by far the best poster on here. -
Fits more with N'Guessan, but seeing as he might not be here permanently I guess it'll do for Oxo
-
Indeed. The forum is much busier than it's been for a while; however, this is probably just down to the success of the team.
-
Fair enough, but Trousers originally asked if mods had access as well.
-
"Dan" Harding, "Butters" Butterfield, "Danny" Seaborne, and "guessers" N'Guessan. Easy.
-
I've scoured the mod control panel and I cannot find anything that would restrict user access other than the "ban user" section - and that is taking things a bit too far if you ask me. Something else i've just noticed is that if you go to the last page on each forum, the very first threads ever started are still there...deleting those completely might help speed things up a bit.

Boyd was completely nullified at our place so i'd say we should be able to deal with him again. But CMS looked very dangerous. I'm not saying it'll be easy, just that we kept out the best attack in the league with relative ease, so after losing Mclean there's no reason we can't do it again.
