  1. Fair point, but as I said players all have different aspects to their game. John Terry being quiet, not getting stuck in etc. would not be right. But equally if Ryan Giggs was screaming his head off every 5 minutes I doubt he would be able to control games as he does.
  2. I think we need to dump this relaxed attitude the team have got. There's a fine line between that and complacency.
  3. As JonnyLove says, even the calmest of people around me today were going mental at the ref. No surprise that a player whose game relies quite heavily on his passion was getting quite annoyed.
  4. I can't quite decide which was worse - his performance today or Peter Waltons V Leeds.
  5. I can't speak for the others, but I was at the game. Living in Weymouth I leave at 12 and don't get back till...well, now. I'm assuming you're referring to other threads btw, as I can't see any bickering in here.
  6. Apparently. I assume there were some old folk tales or whatever that was based on absolutely nothing, much like the Cornish Wreckers.
  7. 1976_child was trolling for quite some time. There were two threads he started in the last couple of days that ended up with him getting a weeks ban.
  8. I was gonna let it go, but
  9. I think it was one of the admins, us new mods ain't got a scooby how to ban someone. Although as it's pretty much gone as far as it can, I might have a look around for the lock button...
  10. I tried it already for a mate of mine, they said only one transaction per ST. I imagine a lot of people have already got their mates cheap tickets.
  11. Been at work all evening, is there a summary of what's happened?
  12. He got injured towards the end.
  13. Don't go then. I felt like that before the Rochdale game but that is the only time i've ever felt it. To be honest a couple of weeks away from football during the season made me want to go more.
  14. No keeper on the bench?
  15. Ah, Djamel Belmadi - he was a quality player.
  16. I'd like to point out that BWP and Lambert both have 5 goals from 7 and 11 games respectively. He's not as sh*te as people like to remember. And Lambert has had 16 more shots than Bradley this season.
  17. As Mark says every game is must win until we are promoted, but I think the point he hid in amongst all the unnecessary vitriol was that mentioning it serves no real purpose. That can't surely be your only thought on the game tomorrow Delldays?
  18. Exactly, he owes us.
  19. "Robert Pires 'not aware' of Crawley Town interest" http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/crawley_town/9112362.stm There for the taking.
  20. Him and a Huddersfield player both went for a bullet header. Lambert ended up not remembering what was going on.
  21. This is the thing i've always said about him - that even when he's not "performing" more often than not he still provides. Obviously this season it hasn't quite clicked yet, but the same can be said for most of the players.
  22. Dislike him and have noticed a point he's got wrong already. A car dealership would NOT be able to take a car back off you after four years - you have proof of ownership, correct. Wayne Rooney had a CONTRACT, that lasted for a certain amount of time. Man United do not "own" him.
  23. Two of those have been performing this season so moot point, and the other provided 58 goals for the team last season.
  24. I'm guessing the loan agreements thing is just a bug then?
  25. "The 24-year-old told BBC Radio Solent: "The booing did give me a gee-up and did bring something good out of me." He has been 10 times better since Adkins came in, and whaddya know? People were chanting his name again at the last game. Fans are never "set against" a player as some people like to believe.
