You think we should have 3 players for each position who can all perform at the same level. It ain't gonna happen. At any club, ever.

There is no-one out there who would come to league one who could replace those two. No-one. Someone might be able to do the same kind of things as them, but at a much, much lower level of quality.

Why exactly should we be so different? Should we go back to the good old days of having huge squads that can cover any injury crisis? That really served us well.

Take Austin, Douglas, Cuthbert and Prutton out the Swindon side. See how good they look then. Take Rhodes, Clarke, Smithies and Peltier out the Huddersfield side. See how good they look then. Take Morrison, Beevers, Johnson and Hinds out the Wednesday side. Etc etc. It's the same for EVERY club in the league - take four of their best players, and they will look nowhere near their best. Especially against a team in a higher league.

Agree with most of this, but I think the protest march was actually quite a big success. A lot of people thought there would be f*ck all there, but it was a huge turnout. As for sitting in the road, well it caused disruption didn't it - and that's the only way to truely make yourself heard in this f*cked up country.

Just like to point out that Stu said a while ago that he predicted there wouldn't be a fans forum this year. He said it in one of his big "i'm not talking to you anymore" posts, where he predicted several things, and said he would come back to say "I told you so" at some point. Can't remember what the other predictions were.

Considering he has received no message from the club, does anyone know he is actually being REFUSED a season ticket? Has he tried simply phoning the ticket office up and asking, rather than sending one of his pompous "official Saints Trust" emails?
