  1. Is it so hard to understand what I am saying? Yes, the people who went on the pitch are to blame - they looked like a bunch of c*nts. I am just asking why the police were there if they weren't going to try and stop people from running on the pitch, as IMO all the "preventative measures" were a massive contributing factor to the tension at the end anyway.
  2. I completely agree I wasn't suggesting at all that anyone be arrested or banned, I just cannot understand why we had 1st line of defence stewards scrabbling around with the police behind them (on the pitch, I might add) not moving a muscle as people legged it past them.
  3. Yes multiplied by pi.
  4. Leading on from this, I saw only one person on the pitch who looked older than 16...
  5. Well he said the team with about half an hour to kick-off. Southend team, that is.
  6. Jesus christ. They WERE on the pitch. Why were they there then?
  7. See my last post you troll.
  8. Absolutely, if they think there is a threat to the players/staff on the pitch they should take action. So why stand there and watch calmly as people sprint past them towards the tunnel?
  9. Of course the police aren't fully to blame, but once again you are showing why it is difficult to comment on scenarios you did not witness. There was NO tension at all in the air until they all lined up and the tannoy announcer started spouting off every 2 minutes.
  10. The announcer never says the opponents team at kick-off, only pre-match.
  11. What, by standing there letting people break the law after inciting them to do so?
  12. Bloke in the megastore said the printers messed up. Non-story.
  13. Yeah, because he really looked like someone who was leaving ala Pahars.
  14. *Sorry, I meant incitement... There was absolutely nothing brewing/mentioned during the game until they all lined up down the front and the announcements started. Then people ran on the pitch, and whilst the stewards tried to stop them the coppers LITERALLY didn't move an inch.
  15. Absolutely fantastic signing if true. Wasn't expecting a RB of such quality.
  16. Ian Baird, not Chris I take it.
  17. From the way they have talked about him, just a feeling I get.
  18. Erm.............................................
  19. I reckon most would want to leave if Pardew went though. We would have to rebuild AGAIN... Alps would do his nut.
  20. As I said on the other thread, they would have advertised it better if something was happening today. Be interesting to see what IS on those rails though. Maybe Pompey players?
  21. Don't think so. They would have advertised it to draw more people in.
  22. This this this this this this this. We have had 3 managers in the last decade who have had absolute support from the fanbase (apart from the loonys), WGS, Pearson, and now Pardew. They all have one thing in common. Please Mr Cortese, Pardew deserves next season.
  23. Won't even be in the team apparently :smt043
  24. Come on Rovers, Swindon, Millwall, Charlton and Huddersfield!
