Jesus christ, NOBODY has said they would rather stay here than be in the Prem. Some people have said they might not go because costs will be so much higher and, with the amount of plastics around pretending they know what happened in the lower divisions, the day could be less enjoyable.
You can't explain it tbh. You have to try them and see whether you like it for yourself.
However, i'd say that 7, 8 or 9 would be a better gauge of whether you like the series or not...
Sorry Mr Fashion police
Whenever i've seen thousands of flags being waved at Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool in the CL, or at Wembley it has looked immense.
I'll only be wearing it once, and i'll pay whatever it is in store.
The only other home shirt I have that fits me has Pele on the back. No way am I wearing that near other Saints fans.
I love it down here. I will still go when we get to the Prem (though probably not as many away days) but of course we won't enjoy it as much because we won't be winning constantly.
Walcott scored V Leeds at Elland Road, 05/06, when we lost 3-1 I believe.
EDIT; Actually I think we won that game as I can remember Fuller scoring, and someone else as well.
The other game that season was THAT 4-3 game, but Walcott didn't score.
Agreed. People I know have said "but it means another year in this f*cking league" - so? I've enjoyed it. I'd rather go up as Champions than through the play-offs.
Sounds like they WERE a bunch of idiots, but if the stewards and police could see the tension the flag was causing they should have removed it. I don't know anything about Tranmere so not too sure who their rivals are, but if we came in with a flag/shirt of their rivals and they got sh*tty about it, i'm sure we'd be ejected sharpish.
Appears to have changed. We have no idea, really.
Personally I think there was something in the whole Milan thing, and he is seeing what happens with us before making a decision at the end of the season.
But either way the point remains that there is no need to discuss the negative possibilities for next season whilst ignoring the positive ones.
If that's what you want then make your own forum mate. When i'm in the mood I quite enjoy debating points with Alpine and Delldays. Not so much Glasgow as he is completely relentless and stubborn in his view that we should be winning every game.
Again this comes down to a lack of faith on your part Alps.
When they came here they said they were in it for the long term, that they would not be rushing things, that things needed to be steadily built up. Were they lieing?
So instead of debating the point that other teams fans in this league (including Huddersfield, Leeds, Norwich and Swindon) think we have got a fantastic squad and are certainties for promotion next season, you dismiss it with sarcasm.
