Well they cannot just "walk away". On another thread you made a post insinuating that Liebherr doesn't want to just throw money away, in which case when selling the club he will want his money back. That means whoever comes in would have to have a fair wad of cash in his back pocket. But anyway, you missed the point. The point was why should WE spend this season worrying about that possibility instead of relaxing and enjoying each game as it comes?

I've never seen any personal abuse tbh. I've seen people do as you've said (though maybe using the word b*llocks rather than drivel) but never resort to calling anyone names. You admit Alpine that we have made progress this season, and yet you demand more. This is what baffles people the most - we have turned from a sh*t League One side scraping draws at home, into a top League One side thrashing teams by 5 goals. Yes, we have lost/drawn a few games that we would liked to have won - but look at Leeds. Look at Norwich. It happens. Pardew has acknowledged there is a problem. We all have. The difference between you and me, is I believe he will be able to fix it, whereas you seem to doubt his ability to do so. YES - if next season he has not got us into the CCC, then he should go. But why should we spend all of this season discussing THAT possibility rather then the likelihood that he DOES get us promoted? When you look at it like that Alpine, you have to admit that it makes you look like the one with the least ambition.

If the Premier League started paying it's clubs bills, i'd hope the Football League would stand up and tell them to f*ck off - either by withdrawing the money or cutting all ties between the two associations.

I don't see what's so funny. This season has been a complete disaster. I'd imagine every other League One club is laughing at us right now. Oh no, wait. They're all tipping us for the title next year.

Well, our first half of the season was always going to be tough because we didn't have a pre-season. That isn't going to change, even when we look back in 10 years time.

Seeing as you have started using work analogies, let's try another. If a new boss came in and took over a company I worked for, I would not expect a promotion straight away.

Wrong again. I am not "assuming" anything. I am forming an opinion based on what I have seen the team do this season. Pardew has delivered everything he promised - this is a fact. And you are making assumptions that he will not address the problem we have on the road.

That is a failing on your part Alpine. Not ours, and certainly not on Pardews.

Pardew has acknowledged it is a major problem and has said he is working to address it. Why not show a little belief in the manager of your team, who has delivered everything he has promised thus far?

Every single person, without fail, is EXPECTING promotion next season. EXPECTING. If we don't go up, Pardew should go. The world is not split into people with ambition (who want success right away) and people with no ambition (who are prepared to wait).
