  1. 2004 actually mate, I didn't even follow football until I started watching Saints. If your accusing me of jumping on a bandwagon then it was the one rolling off a cliff.
  2. Obviously not, but there IS a middle ground. The world isn't divided into Matt Le Tiss and everyone else wanting to jump ship immediately.
  3. Why? If we are discussing hypothetical situations, why can't we assume that Lambert wants to stay inside St Marys stadium until he dies? And FWIW, upwards of £4million. Oh, and making the assumption that he wants to go - when by every single account from the player, the manager and fans who have spoken to him says otherwise - looks a tad pessimistic. As in, it looks like you prefer to talk about the negative possibilities rather than the positive ones.
  4. Hang on, has the shirt been leaked or something? Everyones talking like it's definitely NOT the sash shirt.
  5. The point being that the figures it would require for us to accept a bid are not the sort of fees clubs could afford to pay for a gamble.
  6. Clearly, but that's not the point.
  7. F*ck, you're right. I'm sure Norwich won't make one either seeing as they lost at home to us. It would be really embarrassing if they released a season review DVD, seeing as they lost a game. I mean, that's just mental.
  8. Perhaps - but in the same interview Pardew said "if someone comes in with £10 million for Lambert, we might have to review the situation". You reckon anyones gonna pay that kinda money?
  9. Indeed, I suggest anyone thinking there will be an exodus should watch Pardews latest interview on Saintsplayer. "I have no intention of breaking this group up and the players don't want to break it up either". "Just to reassure the fans, Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Morgan Schneiderlin and Jason Puncheon have all come to me and said they can't wait for next season".
  10. Harding does deserve credit, and over the last few seasons he would have won player of the year, but it's a GOOD thing he can be that fantastic and still be soundly beaten to player of the year. 33 goals, 20 assists and some of the best hold up play, vision and passing i've seen from a Saints player for a long long time. Lambert deserves the award.
  11. I was disappointed as well. Yes, it was an awful season, but there were still some moments to remember - Davis' wonder save V Cardiff being one. That goal against QPR by Lallana another. The games away to Preston and Reading.
  12. Are you f*cking mental?
  13. You miserable tit.
  14. He wanted to go back to Colombia so his child would be brought up as a Columbian. Now plays for Juan Aurich FC in Peru, after a year or so with Once Caldas.
  15. Nope, there was a clause in his old contract which said that an extension would be signed if Reading wanted to. He agreed to that clause and cannot go back on it now.
  16. For under £500k he would be a good signing, but we could get better with that amount of cash.
  17. Antonio has also said Pardew has made him a better player. I will honestly be gutted if he doesn't sign.
  18. Peter Leven is a f*cking great shout. Very good passer of the ball and strong in the tackle.
  19. 1. Why didn't they sign him for longer? 2. Even if they do, everyone has their price.
  20. Personally I think he's better than Davis, but it would be a shame to oust him after all the loyalty he's shown us.
  21. You reckon he will be in our team when we are challenging for promotion from the CCC?
  22. Exactly. I have no doubt that he could do a job in league one, but we can attract better now.
  23. No, he means he is now at Wigan, not West Brom.
