  1. Fair point. Buy a parasol.
  2. Probably, they're looking to sell Gallagher for 40 so that would fund it.
  3. There's a pretty sizeable chunk at the front of the northam who do prefer to sit though. People that want to get involved in the chanting but can't manage to stand up for too long anymore.
  4. Part of the changes to the ground might include putting concourse segregation in the kingsland similar to what is in the Northam. As for the sun...buy a baseball cap.
  5. Don't really see the difference between that set up and the way it's set up now in all honesty.
  6. Just had a quick look on the Facebook announcement post, majority of people saying they only sit in the northam to be next to the away fans and will just move. Fucking weirdos.
  7. For some reason I thought we ended up losing that game 4-1, forgot they only narrowly beat us in the last minute. Maybe we'll do ok.
  8. Yeah fair enough, so let's keep the status quo and make no effort to improve it. Why not go there and try and show the darn young'uns how it's done? I haven't had a season ticket since 2018 but last time I sat in the northam (lower down admittedly) I remember it being middle aged and older, hardly any kids at all.
  9. Brilliant, great attitude to have. Club are trying something positive to improve the atmosphere and you'll point blank refuse to get involved because of some vague "Noddy crap", whatever that even means. Jesus Christ.
  10. Question, if we get promoted do we then have to remove the safe standing section? I've lost track of where it is and isn't allowed.
  11. Honestly never thought this would end up happening. Everyone in Itchen north and Chapel end who have been trying to get an atmosphere going need to shift over to the Northam now for this to properly work. I might actually try and get a season ticket again.
  12. Know absolutely nothing about him but he's appeared in 11 Prem games this season so is clearly thought well of there.
  13. Eh, they aren't the strongest WSL side. Still think it'll take a monumental effort to beat them. When is the game?
  14. Think Meghoma proved himself capable of stepping up for a game or two as well.
  15. Reread his post. He said the defender air shot.
  16. You and me against the world Gav.
  17. Agreed.
  18. Well I've just watched it for another time slowed down in 4k and I'm telling you it doesn't take a touch at all.
  19. Trust what you're told rather than the evidence of your own eyes then, eh.
  20. Well I've checked it twice now, why don't you take another look and tell me where a defender touches it. Closest it comes is when the CB sticks a foot out but you can see it bounce off the ground.
  21. Hope we get an easy draw to the final. Truth is first WSL team we meet and we're out. I've already agreed to go to the final with my missus, would make it a pleasant surprise if Saints were there to cheer on.
  22. Just watched it again, really not that clear. Watch the replay from the other end, slow it down if you have to. The flight of the ball doesn't change at all.
  23. 2-0. Wemberleyyyyyy...
  24. I thought the same but rewatching it I'm not so sure the defender actually touches it.
  25. Posting here as well as the match thread. Arma with 14 goals and 11 assists so far this season, only player in the top four England leagues (and the top leagues around Europe) in double figures for both.
