You can stand up and move at the same time, this isn't some turn based game where you only get one action at a time.

But Maitland Niles is a much more physical player than Diallo and knows more about tracking the runner, Diallo just let's his man run time after time.

I have confidence we'll turn this round to win but there's glaring holes in the performance which need addressing.

I suppose we've all had our expectations of what a decent keeper is ruined by McCarthy being number one. Fucking hell. We're happy with a keeper conceding a goal like that now.

Why don't you ask him if he feels he should have done better. You honestly look at that goal and think "yep, nothing the keeper could have done about that"?

I am behind him. I'd like him to learn from that and not do it again. But as I've said multiple times, I'm yet to be convinced with him. He's a good sweeper keeper but some of the basics are lacking - been beaten at his near post and now been beaten by one of the worst shots you'll ever see.

You lot make me laugh. Any other keeper in the world let's that goal in you'd be slating them. McCarthy or Forster and you'd have the noose out ready for a lynching. Just because he's a City wonder boy doesn't mean he should be immune to criticism.

You're right, we should be praising him for diving out of the way leaving the majority of his goal exposed and letting a goal slowly trickle in.

He could stay on his feet and react rather than gamble as if he's trying to save a penalty. If he stays on his feet till Podence shoots then it goes safely into his hands.

Which is why we need AMN in there and not Diallo.

I know he's going to make more mistakes than the average keeper because he's young. That's why I wanted us to sign an experienced keeper.
