Our best performances have still come with Perraud at left back. KWP is brilliant at cutting in and making himself a threat, but the oppo defense know that they don't have to worry about anyone getting round the left and crossing it when he plays. With Perraud in the side, him getting forward down the left means that anyone else in the box is an issue for the defense as he's proven to be a brilliant crosser of the ball. It means the defense are more stretched because they have more to worry about. I also think there's a little bit of transfer snobbery going on, as he's an unknown signing from a lesser team for not very much money so fans are not giving him the credit his performances deserve. Since he's come back into the side he's been the best left back in the league for me.

Not saying we won't sell anyone, but the tactic of the pathway doesnt necessarily mean someone needs to be sold. For example signings could be made at CB (upgrade on Bednarek, possible replacement for Stephens whose contract extension was never officially confirmed), AM (upgrade on Djenepo, Walcott, Redmond) and striker (replacement for Broja and Long whose contract is up). Plus goalkeeper of course. Summer after we'd need to be looking to shift people on though. Having said that, if we were to sell anyone I think the most likely this summer would be Salisu and KWP - but I'd honestly rather keep KWP and sell Livramento. I think Tino will be off in a couple seasons anyway whereas KWP I could see being happy here for quite some time ala Bertrand.

If it was Saturday Tuesday I'd say maybe, but I think the strongest team can play both and then see who might need rotating for the weekend after.

Perraud tore Spurs apart offensively, to say he offers nothing going forwards is rubbish.

I did say I was being very conservative.

Looking at our remaining fixtures and being, IMO, very conservative with my predictions I have us finishing on 47 points.

Cheers for keeping it up. Our head to head comparison may start to dip towards the end of the season but we've done brilliantly so far.

West Ham are (should be) focussed on top 4 and rotating, we absolutely should go full strength for the cup and rotate in the games around it if needed.

Wasn't there today but difficult to believe it tops home to MK Dons in the semi final of the JPT, considering we had almost the entire stadium bar 300 tickets sold to MK Dons.

Regarding squad depth, with everyone fit all of a sudden we have a bench of: Caballero Lyanco Stephens Livramento Diallo Redmond Tella A.Armstrong Long With the likes of Djenepo, Smallbone, Walcott, Valery, McCarthy not even making it into the squad. I think our depth is fine. Of course it could always be better.

Perraud absolutely goes straight back in and Tino learns a hard lesson, it's not enough to be good if the players you're competing with are superb.

Missed a big chance today (though Salisu was doing his best to put him off) but otherwise another great performance.

Very little movement from Che and Broja at times, doesnt give us much to work with when we get in the attacking third.

For all the praise he's giving Romeu he's still selling him short. Saying he does the dirty stuff no-one else wants to, keeps it really simple...he's quality on the ball and very rarely gives it away.
