Talking of players out of contract in the summer, there are some potentially great players available. Andre Onana, the Ajax goalkeeper, would be a massive upgrade. Luiz Felipe, centreback at Lazio is good on the ball and only 24, would be an upgrade on both Stephens and Bednarek. Bit more ambitious at CB would be Romagnoli from AC Milan who at 27 would also bring experience that we are, in my opinion, severely lacking in that position. Brereton Diaz is someone that gets talked about a lot and he too is out of contract. 20 goals so far in all competitions this season for Blackburn.
