  1. 3-4-3 is his formation, not sure why anybody is surprised by that.
  2. As it hasn't been posted yet...
  3. Fernandes on the bench is a pretty clear indication he's off, not just protecting him but also we won't want to get a false idea of how our team performs like we did with JWP and Tella last time. Would rather see Wood in for Stephens and Downs in for Fraser but hey ho. In still we trust.
  4. It's impossible to not be absolutely buzzing for it once you sit down for the new season. Come on lads.
  5. Just done some reading on that Canadian keeper, I actually like the sound of him. Would have no real issue settling in or with communication. Seems like he commands his box from crosses and balls through, which I love from a keeper.
  6. Hinting that they sacked Martin to protect him from the level of abuse rather than out of a desire to change manager...
  7. Basically answered the Dibling one there. Haven't had a bid accepted yet and if we don't get the amount we're happy with he won't go.
  8. When he said get your hands up and the mic will come to you while I introduce these guys...nobody put their hands up 😂 guessing someone there has questions but was quite funny.
  9. Interesting to hear the last championship season described as "scraping the playoffs". Don't think those in charge were too happy with not challenging for automatic.
  10. Does your username stand for "I fucking hate presenters"?
  11. What makes you think it wasn't Pulis? He's claimed himself that after seeing Delaps long throws on the training ground he asked him specifically to put them in the box that way (and towards the near post).
  12. Perhaps. However the disastrous debut Prem season he had after being ridiculously thrown in at such a young age could have handicapped him mentally for his entire career. It's part of the reason so many of us were vocally against him being first choice even before we'd seen him play.
  13. Palmer, Saka, Gordon, Rogers, Bellingham, Foden, Rashford, Eze all ahead of him for those 3 attacking midfield spots at the moment. Possibly Maddison as well. Think he struggles to get in the squad anyway.
  14. Nonsense. We were on course for, and I am certain would have ended up with, the lowest points total in Premier League history under him.
  15. Not brave enough = they didn't pass it along our own goal line with four opposition players sprinting at us from the penalty spot. He's a narcissistic prick.
  16. Maybe he is. It's pre-season.
  17. Literally looks no different to how he always does.
  18. I don't disagree, but we were never going to be selling the majority of our squad. It doesn't happen.
  19. That's including as you say retirees, loans out as well as players out of contract. First teamers sold was only 7 or 8. People were talking at the end of last season about us selling everyone except 4 or 5 of our first team squad, it was never going to happen.
  20. I don't know why so many people were saying we needed to get rid of 15+ players, it never happens when a team gets relegated.
  21. It's the top level of women's football in England if that's what you're asking. I wouldn't describe it as the same level as the Prem as that carries certain implications about level of performance.
  22. Romano reckons we want him back if we go up again. I wouldn't. He'd rather go and sit on the bench for them than play for us in the Championship after being part of the team that dropped us down there? Fuck him and his inflated ego.
  23. People that organise these things really don't know what they're doing. Should be a day long event on the weekend in a big open space somewhere with bars, food stalls, rides and play areas for kids, a VIP area on a stage where the players drink and mingle with live music on a separate stage.
