  1. He's our Cedric Running down the right wing he's electric He does things that are so unexpected And he sh*ts on Clyne... Not 100% on the third line, might be "those things that I never expected" but meh, both sound similar.
  2. People calling for Yoshida at RB are clearly forgetting how bad he was there for us and how it led to him being labelled a horrific footballer...when he is in fact a more than capable CB.
  3. On a different note, very glad to hear the Cedric chant properly going now - maybe now the usual suspects will stop their hilarious "all Saints chants are the same, clap clap" routine and actually keep trying when a new chant pops up. It takes time for people to hear WTF is being chanted, don't expect the whole stadium to join in after 2 verses of it.
  4. Only thing that sticks in the mind is giving a foul by Austin when Williams grabbed him round the head. Not sure what that was for as they were both just going for an aerial ball before that.
  5. Couple of small decisions wrong, but far better than anything else we've had (bar Europa games). The one we had in the league cup was still the worst.
  6. City Arsenal and Spurs do rotate, how's it worked out for Leicester in their league campaign? VvD doesn't play every week - he's rested for domestic cup games which Fonte plays in.
  7. Not sure about that, few times in the past the fans have almost worn themselves out by kick off and sung all of our small repertoire of songs, meaning people aren't as up for it after kick off. Today as soon as the game kicked off there was a proper loud OWTS. Music was quite different today as well...wondering if the players have requested what gets played.
  8. I'd say he's got it spot on so far. Using the full amount of group games to rotate as much as possible knowing it would still be in out hands is a stroke of genius...
  9. Yoshida will play for VVD, McCarthy for Forster and probably the two fullbacks will change.
  10. The three away games are all very tough, especially Bournemouth who are playing well. I'd take 7 points if offered right now, on the basis that we are 7 points off the amount we had in mid january last season so would still be well ahead of ourselves.
  11. Surprises me that Koeman says he doesn't know about him, he was outstanding for the youth teams whilst Koeman was here.
  12. Who does? Barca, Madrid, Bayern?
  13. Can we just stop the knee jerk reactionary posts to every individual game altogether and view things with a bit of perspective? Still convinced things will look even better on january 1st.
  14. Hesketh wasn't given a chance to follow up and has since got injured. Sims is 19, not 16/17. We've had first team regulars younger than that, and not too long ago.
  15. Been excited to see him in the first team since his exceptional performance against Pompey in the youth cup a few years back. Should keep his place V Palace if you ask me.
  16. Says you. Yet stats are becoming increasingly important at all levels of coaching, scouting and recruiting.
  17. Olomola!
  18. Lets see how the scousers react when he throws a tantrum because Klopp wants to keep him.
  19. Yep, Milan was still a great trip, a result would have just turned it into an unreal one.
  20. Out of interest how many starts does he have compared to other CMs in the league? In all competitions I mean. With the added games he probably isn't far off playing just as much as others.
  21. Nothing to add except "modulator" [emoji23]
  22. Feel free to find the quote as I was pretty sure we'd lose.
  23. I think I remember reading a quote from Les where he said they teach the 4-3-3 formation because it's the easiest to adapt into other styles, i.e you can very easily make it a 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2 diamond as we've seen the last two seasons.
  24. Very selective memory then, it wasn't that long ago we were lamenting the fact that we were creating 15+ chances a game but hardly putting any away.
  25. We should remember that it's still in our hands. Look at our Prem fixtures coming up as well - on the 1st of january we could conceivably be into the knockouts of the Europa, the semis of the league cup and back in the top 8 of the Prem pushing for the top 6.
