People judged Long on everything he'd done previously without remembering how well other players have improved under our coaching system - he has as well, massively, and has become a good striker at this level.

Thing is we have kind of played like that in other recent games, just not taken our chances and then let our heads drop when we let the first goal in. I think he's done well and will be a good player for us, but I don't believe for a second he'll be as good as Schneiderlin. People seem too wrapped up in the idea that there are only players of Schneiderlins quality and then sh*t players, with nothing in between.

I think 3 has happened the last few games more than it has since Arnhem away. The last 20 minutes against Liverpool sparked something in the crowd, and the atmosphere was much better against Villa. Can't speak for Palace away, but i'm expecting it to continue tomorrow.
